I actually like Probe Whiskey, although not for constant use. Just once or twice a day is fine for me. Phantom Blue on the other hand is rank.
Most horrible Snus in my opinion

It's not really so much the caffeine (although it is somewhat bitter), but the taurine and guarana (if the energy snus has that in there. Not sure). Taurine tastes pretty awful just on it's own.Originally posted by holnrewI dunno, coffee tastes pretty good to me without sweetener.

I actually like Northerner's energy snus which has caffeine, guarana, and taurine. It has a nice mellow honey flavor.Originally posted by jackolanternIt's not really so much the caffeine (although it is somewhat bitter), but the taurine and guarana (if the energy snus has that in there. Elixyr OTOH tastes like a tree creature's dirty ass...

For mainstream snus, Phantom portion is the worst I've ever had. For a 1 off, I thought Offroad Eucalyptus was pretty terrible. I enjoy Catch eucalyptus, but the Offroad holds the record for the shortest time any snus has stayed in my mouth :^D

Some of the stores around here still have Grand Prix in stock. Tourney is in the same packaging so I assume they are the same. Tourney was bad, but there are worse brands. The stores around here that have it can't get rid of it. The manager of my most frequented Speedway says he can't remember the last time he sold a can. They were giving them away as a bonus with the purchase of a can of Camel for a while, he said people turned them down.Originally posted by jamesstewSurprised no one has brought up the delicious and oh-so-tasty Tourney snus. Don't see it anymore I have noticed of late, then again I don't think anyone is selling Roots anymore either.
My least favorite would have to be Elyzir or Probe. Couldn't stand to finish a can of either.

I have only tried 4 kinds so far (have 8 more kinds coming). Tourney (speedway) Wintergreen, General Sterk, Catch Eucalyptus and Wise citrus/menthol. All portions. The only one that I didn't like, and thought was totally useless was the:
Tourney Wintergreen
I think it had been sitting on the shelf for a very long time. No flavor what so ever. No noticeable sating of the nicotine craving. The only thing it did was give you the absolute worst, raw, tree-bark tobacco taste in your mouth when you took it out. I mean, like, really bad. I'm glad I ordered the real stuff because that crap is NOT going to get anyone to start using it.

I tried a portion of Tourney (can't remember which flavor) from somebody at work and there is this lingering metallic flavor (similar to licking a coin) that overpowers the cheap tobacco taste. Why can't American companies produce quality snus? If they are scared customers will hate real snus, they shouldn't even bother with the garbage they're marketing at all.Originally posted by Tristik~~

Somebody mentioned Pilsner Roots the other day and thinking that it sounded nasty I had to google it. What sounds even worse is their Lime/Licorice Los. I love most anything lime flavored and licorice is Ok occasionally but the two together? :x Has anybody tried it?Originally posted by jamesstewSurprised no one has brought up the delicious and oh-so-tasty Tourney snus. The few I'v tried have all been good to OK so far.

Lime Licorice wasn't too bad. I first thought it might be a roll buy, but I became disenchanted with it. The flavor started off kind of wintergreeny, which is a turn off for me. It mellowed to a decent licorice flavor, but the mouth feel was terrible. It was kind of fluffy, with a sawdust like texture. It felt unsubstantial under the lip... It had bulk, but somehow felt like nothing was there at the same time :^/
