Nice order. Gotland's snus' are fairly unique. Their not everybody's cup of tea, but I find them complex and delicious. Every one they make is on my favorites list. I could exclusively use Gotland products, and feel like I wasn't missing much. I would like to see them release a "natural" flavored snus though. One that's primarily tobacco flavor without much else.

I agree with you. I really like the taste of the tobacco, so a natural one would be very good. I think the next one I am going to try is going to be the julesnus.

I really like the goteborg rape, I can taste the floral notes in it, but I think in addition that it has a very smoky taste. I think it will take a few more tries to fully appreaciate it. The other one I have tried was the roda lacket which I thought was pretty gross. I could only leave it in for 10 minutes or so. I'm hoping that this is one I can 'grow into'. If not though no big loss, there are plenty of others that I already really like.

I am definately curious about the julesnus so can't wait to try it (with how unique the flader is, I can only imagine this one). I think I need a little break though, too much snusing at one time lol.

lxskllr, what flavor is the yellow gotland snus? By the description at getsnus it looks like this one is a more natural snus. Btw, I have in a portion of the julesnus and it is incredible!!

The yellow lös is a good bit different than the portions. I'm a huge fan of both. Both have a strong citrus flavor, with the lös being more pronounced. The lös also has a bit of a chocolaty back note, and a little bit of an evergreeny flavor. The portions are more bitter, and they have a much stronger evergreen note, and a little more herbal in general. You could use one right after the other and not feel like you were using the same snus twice.

I wouldn't call either a pure tobacco taste by a long shot, but they are "natural" tasting. It tastes like earthy natural flavors, but much more than pure tobacco.

Ahh, well I am still going to have to put them, at least the portions (one day I might indulge in los, my girlfriend is just quite against it lol), on my 'to order' list. They sound outstanding. Thanks for clearing that up.

edit- I just had a revelation as I resniffed my roda, ITS AMMONIA!! That is why I couldn't stand it I think. You would think that I would have thought of that sooner being a snuff user. I also noticed that all my cans have an expiration date of around march where the roda is oct., which further tells me that I might have just gotten a very fresh can. There is still hope!!

You nailed it. That's a perfect description.
