I looked into this about a week ago. Yes, they are processing "Mont crist and julia romeo" snuses in Gotland, but there is no stated or implied connection to Gotlandssnus AB, nor to Cuban tobacco being used in Gotlandssnus. Given, I have no idea how large or small Gotland is, so I suppose there is a possible connection, but that is pure conjecture on my part.
Apparently, Nordic Snus Manufacturing AB secured the rights to use the names Montecristo and R y J: that is all. See below link.

I like Gotland Grey, and have tried Julessnus. Gotlandssnus' website says they have new products coming out soon, but that is all.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Gotlandssnus. The green is alright, almost apple-y tasting, but it wouldn't be on the top of my favourites list. Monecristos are lovely, though 8)

I agree, it does sound like a sales pitch. I'm sure the recipes are at least a little different between gotlandssnus and the others you mentioned. I hope you don't lose your job for giving away trade secrets.

Mont crist and julia romeo is produced in the same premises as Gotlandssnus.. and it was and is still Gotlandssnus whom stands for the process of development of the different snus types!!

so if you are smart (which i think you are) bye Gotlandssnus instead of mc/jr and benefit from the fact that its the same snus (perhaps Gotlandssnus even has a better qvality!)

Gotlandssnus has no smokearoma and less chemical additives than any one else on the market!
