Its pretty straight forward. Soak it in waterfor a minute or so and put it in the tin. Its only for small amounts of tobacco. I think I'll be soaking mine in coffee. :P


Actually it would be a good way to self flavor your snus. Just get some concentrated flavoring to soak it in and then put it in a tin with whatever snus you want to flavor. The tobacco will soak up the scent. It will work good to flavor snuff also.

I used to use one of those for my pipe tobacco if it got to dry.

I used it for Cigars, when I still smoked them. They worked well with up to 5 cigars but, I had to soak it everyday so. I had 2. One in the box and, one soaking. Just kept them rotated. Any smoke shop that sells cigars should have em'.

I used them for my handrolling tobacco. I used to have a bunch because years ago Drum was giving them out with the purchase of 150g tins. I've managed to lose most of them over the years though.

I think Mr. L was referring to Drum cigarette tobacco that comes in 150 gr tins, not snus. That 150 gr tin would only last about a week for cigs.

My unicorn is currently on vacation in Narnia. She was becoming immune to the Tom Cruise movies so I had to send her away for a while.

I broke a pizza stone to bits and soaked a one inch square of it overnight. Then I placed it in my rolling tobacco which kept it moist for days. That's when I used to smoke by the way. Me doesn't worry about keeping my snus moist because it moistens in me mouth.

A 150g tin would last me from 7-10 days depending on how much I was smoking. I used to buy one every Friday after work.
