I actually like Montecristo, a lot. It's a bit stronger than the rest of the original snuses as well.

Interestingly enough, Montecristo is the only snus that I favor portion over los.

Far from my favorite. It is OK, and the Cuban tobacco definitely has a nice/unique taste; But I have to agree that it is a bit overpriced for the overall experience.

Oh come on, it's not THAT bad.

I'd pick Montecristo before General original / White Portion any time.

Methinks it tastes good but the tobacco taste is hardly noticeable with the very heavy bergamot notes. If Cuban tobacco is good for snus me doesn't know why they need to flavor it.

I like it a good bit. The lös is a favorite of mine. I also like the portions, but prefer Gotland which shares a similar house character.

Yeah, the lös is fantastic. The only reason it's not a staple is that it's priced (and packaged IMHO) like a special-occasion luxury item, so I treat it as that.

Maybe you got a bad batch?

I like the los quite a bit as well, haven't tried the portions. I can't say it's got any kind of bad or off taste whatsoever but admittedly they weren't shy with the flavorings. That and the price keep me from using it more often, but when I do, it's pretty enjoyable snus. Just my 2 cents.

                    Montecristo

If you got a bad batch of Montecristo, call them in Oslo, Stockholm or Roma, Gotland, and tell them. The business is small enough that you'll get some attention, but will have to be specific as to what's wrong.

MC loose isn't bad, and I had to order some being from the US and not in my country right now. I was disappointed that it was only 35g though. You'd think that with the higher price, you'd get the same normal amount. I guess I should have read the website more carefully!

Nice occasional snus, but I wouldn't buy it again even if I could after I return.

I finally tried the portions. So much better than the loose. Night and day.

I love the loose. The flavor is distinct and the snus is a finer cut which does not cause my gums any discomfort.

Expensive, indeed. It's my favorite loose.

The portions are great but I can't get them.

Just bought myself x2 Montecristo portions along with x1 Rome y Julieta and x2 Offroad Wintergreen portions.

Montecristo is still by far great. ;^D

When I lived in maryland, US, I could only find "scrap" style chewing tobacco, and the brands were red man, levi garret, and beech-nut.
