Just got some in the mail (portion and los). It's like christmas in my mouth . Bakeing the los is like bakeing concrete and tree bark (feels like it in the lip too). Like I said, I do like the taste. I added some water drops to it and will let it sit in the fridge for a day, mabee it will soften up a bit. Yet to try the portions.

You're in for a REAL shock with the portions snusfather!!!!!!

It's nothing like the lös. I don't care for wine but, the portions have a bad Cabernet scent and, pretty much overpowers the other tastes in it. When I opened the first can of lös, I did smell the scents of X-Mas. When I opened the first can of portions.......I got the FAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKK factor in reverse!!!

Really don't care for the portions!

Interestingly enough, This is the first time I have liked the taste of the portion more than the Los. I have both and use both, but I like the flavor from the portions more.

            That is interesting Xobe!

I think it's the predominant wine flavor that's turning me off the portions. Like I said, I really don't care for wine so, when the smell hit me, I may have jumped to a conclusion once I popped it in. Like I always do, I'll give it another shot or two before I move on. Maybe in the final step of production, they threw a few bottles of Glögg in with the snusjuice!

I've already gone thru 2 cans of lös and haven't tasted any wine like I do in the portions. Just my opinion.

V2 still did a great job in thier rendition of Julesnus.

Just got the portions today; I like it, but I should have ordered los as well. Unlike Xobeloot, the first thing that I could smell and taste was the hint of wine....the spices came later. I have to say that I like the Gotlands version better, but I really want to try the los variant of this since I like most of V2's loose selection...

Yeah, the portion definitely has more wine flavor.
Though it (to me) is more of a crisp finishing flavor. The los just does not give me that wine feel. I like the los for the los factor, but I think the portion flavor has a bir more depth.

It is actually opposite of all my favorites. Typically I get more depth from the los.

I did smell them (through the can) and agree with you on the scent. I'll see about the flavor soon.

I just tried the loose. It does taste like Christmas in my mouth. I like it, but after about 15 minutes it gets old because of the V2 tobacco. I find the same thing with Offroad Licorice. Almost rubbery in a way. I wish that I liked it more, but I'm just one of those people who isn't a huge fan of V2, although I think that they are doing good things in general for the snus market.

Nice treat though. I can't wait to try it with some egg nog!

                        Great to hear Jimmy!!!!

I cant wait to try the real thing.

Ive been wanting to sample this out since i started snusing.

I always flock to Limited Time Offerings.

Ill be keeping an eye out at Northerner and Buysnus and will definately order a roll.

Just got two rolls of loose, it is very enjoyable but noticeably more dry than other snus. Added a few drops of water, which did the trick. I am going to mix a little with my phantom blue just for kicks and see what type of flavor that produces.

Alright, I'm going to tell you how it is.

This snus is perfect for raking leaves. I have to hillbilly it almost because it's so dry, but the taste is just right for the early winter outdoors.

I just tried some of the portions and I agree with what others are saying about it having an overwhelming smell and flavor of some bad wine. It's pretty potent. I'm curious how the other brand compares.

As a screwed up little kid I never really developed a taste for wine because I would just take swigs out of my parents bottles when they were sleeping and they went cheap with their wine. With that said, I really like the portions and I'm probably going to pick up one last tin of it in my next order.

Still enjoyable in my uneducated opinion.
