    montecristo

I have seen several folks manage to get their hands on montecristo here in the US. How are you getting this? My regular source buysnus.com removes it automatically from my order during checkout, due to the cuban tobacco content of the product.

www.snusButiken.com will ship it. I've gotten two orders with no problems. I just got a roll of Montecristo los, and got 3 cans free! Great deal.

I had good luck with www.snuskaufenonline.de as well. They have a good selection, excellent prices and all around good service. Not only did they toss in a couple free tins but a luggage lock to boot. I'll be doing business with them again and not only for the Havanas.

wHEN YOU GET RIGHT DOWN TO IT MONTECRISTO IS PRETTY GOOD, IF YOU LIKE TO SPEND EXTRA MONEY FOR A HALF SIZE CAN OF WATERY SLOP THAT TASTES LIK EARL GRAY VOMITED BILE INTO A FANCY METAL TIN.
TO EACH HIS OWN. i GOT OVER 12 CANS RIGHT NOW. i LET THEM SIT OUT TO DRY A BIT AND SOMETIMES TOSS IN A BIT OF SKRUF OR GENERAL TO CUT THE BERGAMONT.

I ONLY WISH IT HAD A LITTLE TOBACCO IN IT SO I COULD GET A NIC KICK FROM PINCHIN HALF THE TINY ASS CAN.

Funny you mention that...I'm using it to cut Roda Lacket los, which I was disappointed with. But I hear you, Monte doesn't pack very well, and is very tart, Roda is the best I've found so far in holding together (along with Skruf), but the taste was too bland (Not a problem with Skruf). Mixing Monte with Roda has produced a nice blend of texture and taste that I'm totally digging right now. I can't wait to crack open a can of Skruf (just got in mail) and mix in some Monte to see how that goes. I have some Romeo and Julieta portions also. I was using them on the plane today, and was liking it. They too have that slight tart flavor. Must be the Bergamont your talking about. I didn't know what that was.

You are making me second guess my desire to try montecristo.....

Believe it or not, if the tobacco is cuban there is a difference. I hear conflicting opinions that are stark in their contrast.....

Yeah there is a difference, and I stand by my 'review' Cuban Snus to the USA, (scroll down p3). Don't let these other clowns spoil your resolve to try some cuban snus. Bear in mind, I'm a portion guy... so I can't speak for the Monte los. They do shortchange the quantity for los, but the portions are fairly priced. I'd go with the RyJ over the Monte, but I prefer the anise and not the bergamot. Also, the RyJ's not available in los, but you won't regret it. Have a little faith. Toekuttr gave you the right place to buy, and bakerbarber's being a little over the top, but notice he has a dozen cans.

You can't really tell who the psycho's are at SnusOn, until you've read enough posts. Forget others opinions - follow your own heart. GL!

Grim, those old wounds should've healed by now... but I guess not.

Hey, tell me something; You used to have a sig that went something like... Experience is the easiest thing to get but the hardest to apply.

The thing I don't understand is... If you've never tried Cuban tobacco snus, how can you say that there's no difference between Cuban tobacco and any other kind of tobacco?

Be careful here... your lack of experience might show.

LOL! I don't know about psycho, but that and a few other recent ones look like classic drunk posts to me... I've been guilty of doing that in the past... ops:

The 'psycho' part was said (and meant) tongue-in-cheek, and for the record, not a drunk post at all. If you consider and think about it... my advice was sincere, and it was and is good advice. Simply, follow your own heart. What's wrong with that?

See, i think its not worth the money for it just because its cuban.

But if you want to try it out then do it.

Others opinions should not keep someone from trying something they r interested in.

If you do try it let us know what u think.

Seems people love the cuban kinds or hate em, no middle ground it seems

I wasn't "classically" drunk. No class at all.

I was Epically drunk! Someone should hide my laptop when I get into the sauce.
