I need some advice. Please

Buy in bulk. My really old stuff I bought a bunch of portions, and then decided I prefer lössnus. I'm getting through them slowly, but I expect to have them for a few more years.

To remoisten them, spread some drops around the tin, then let it rest overnight in the fridge. If it wasn't enough, add a bit more. Better too little than too much. With experience, you'll know how much to put in first time.

That reminds me, I want to try los snus or whatever they call it. I've been reading how the flavor is more pronounced vs portions. Thanks for the tip

I've noticed that some flavors just don't taste quite right in rotation with others.....I use Ettan and Islay but I don't have both in my daily rotation. My first taste remembrance of Ettan was of a funky fruit flavor, after time it became too chocolaty for daily use but I do use a few portions now and then, maybe a tin a month. Tastes change frequently, so wrap it up and freeze it for another try later.

Do I need to do anything special to prevent freezer burn? How long do cans last in the freezer?

I tried another portion today. Even the smell makes me feel like hurling. The Islay Whisky is tasting better and better though. Ettan is going lower on my list lol. Perhaps my taste buds are messed up from years of smoking but Ettan has a sort of sickly taste/smell. Smells terrible too, almost fishy. I'm taking Ettan off my list forever. Can't wait to run out of the Islay cans and buy some variety. Also I need to find a purpose for the Islay cans. I think they look fantastic. You can tell a lot of detail went into the production.

Amen to that. I'm not a big fan of Wintergreen flavored tobacco of any sort, but actually I am more OK with General Wintergreen than any other wintergreen out there...including like Grizzly, Kodiak, Copenhagen, Skoal, Beechnut WG chew, etc etc...I've tried them all, but don't really like any, but would rate General WG at the top. I've had Jaks WG, and it was ok, but it was out of date when I got ahold of it, so I'm sure it would've been better.

The GR debate....I actually like it as a change up to General los/op/white which are whats usually in my mouth. I'll pop a can of GR portions or los out once a month or so and it's a nice change....IMO of course....like popping open a bottle of Johnny Walker when you're usually sipping on bourbon....different then the norm and definitely an acquired taste, but fun to do on occasion.

Love GR (I use it daily) hate probe with such a passion that I would buy every can in existence, just to burn them! General wintergreen is an abomination, as is thunder, wow Wintermint is good and jaks WG is tolerable, those are the best two if you want WG. Try some of the Lab series snus, I have always liked 07 and 05, 12 is good if you like mint.

The GR debate....I actually like it as a change up to General los/op/white which are whats usually in my mouth. I'll pop a can of GR portions or los out once a month or so and it's a nice change....IMO of course....like popping open a bottle of Johnny Walker when you're usually sipping on bourbon....different then the norm and definitely an acquired taste, but fun to do on occasion.

GR, along with Probe are two brands I'd like to see sold in 10g tins. I like both of them, but tire of them very quickly. 10g would be a nice change without wearing out its welcome.

The portions of general wintergreen always ripped, just another reason to avoid that stuff. Same with thunder wintergreen.

I've been on the fence about Probe a long time, still have not tried it........

Probe whiskey was one of the rare occasions where I threw out the can before finishing it. I tried it several times over a period of months, and never learned to like it. Another one that went into the trash was General Wintergreen, that my wife bought for me after seeing it at the gas station.

Okay, I'll give Jaks WG a try....I liked Jaks Flader and don't care much for GR.... never liked any other WGs even though it sounds like a good pairing with tobacco. I've been on the fence about Probe a long time, still have not tried it........
