What do guys think of Nick & Johnny portions?

skruf stark portion versus

My favorite snus in the morning by far.

I compared the skruf stark portion against the Nick and Johnny Stark last year. They were both good, but for me, the skruf edged out the N&J because the N&J tasted like General portion (which I like) but without the peppery taste, which I also like....kind of like something was missing.

I've read a lot here that the West tastes different than N&J original Stark and in a positive way. Any opinions on how it matches up against the skruf stark?

N&J West is my favorite portion snus. I also wish that I would have had the opportunity to try N&J los.

I got my order an hour ago and it contained a roll of East. I've never had N&J's other kinds, but I loves the East.

I can't stand the east, its like i put my grandmothers purse in my mouth. The west isn't bad, the original isn't bad either. I wouldn't order n&j again. I like skruf strong alot better. But my first morning snus would had to be either general maxi, or a huge pris of struf stark.

I used to feel the same way and have my initial reaction posted on here somewhere. After a while though I started to pick up on the licorice notes and slight sweetness. Also methinks it goes much better with coffee in the morning than anything else. I usually have a couple of portions of General Sterk stashed in the combi-lid for whenever I need a little more vitamin N. I never really liked the Skruf portions but the loose is quite nice.

I used to use lots of N&J when I first started. N&J, Skruf Los and OR Cran Strong. Once I weened off smokes, I found myself not really needing the strong snus anymore. I still quite enjoy the flavors of some of them (N&J original being one of them), but I typically only use strong if I am drinking or trying to wake up.

They are definitely a roll buy for me.

I enjoy them very much. Always in my daily rotation.

I have N&J East and West - I like them both.

I have some General Sterk comming in to compare, whichever I like better is in the next roll buy

LOL. What a great analogy.

N&J regular is my favorite portion. The West is good, but I find I'm not a big fan of white portions. If I had to pick one portion and one loose it would be without hesitation N&J portions and Skruf Stark loose.

I don't get white portions either, especially when the snus itself has the same moisture content as a normal portion.

It's a pity they stopped the loose, I'm finding I much prefer loose over portion. I'll add some Skruf to the next order, cos I fancy something stronger.
