pouches vs loose

I almost always use loose snus because the pouches are same price for half the weight of snus.
But I tried Ettan Pouches once and felt sure they tasted different from the loose - rather like cigar tobacco!

Yeah, i've found a lot of snus like this - the lös and the portions can have a very different taste for the same brand. Maybe different isn't the right word, but different aspects of the flavour are certainly emphasised. Roda pouches, for example, taste almost cherry to me, a bit sickly so, almost, while Roda lös still has a hint of that flavour, but it's not nearly as prominent and is much more enjoyable.

Yeah, we can block IP addresses. I haven't been noting them down as spammers tend to hijack, mask and proxy their way around so it's tough to trace them. We get more spam than most people even see - I usually delete a few threads per day! I suspect they're bots, actually, not even people, that trawl for phpbb forums and can register an account and post spam automatically. Ice would have to enable or install the anti-spambot thing that gives you a field in which to type in a short alphanumeric code that's all psychedelic and scrambled up (since the bots can't process it). That would stop most of it, I think.

I delete 3 or 4 a day too so we must be getting quite a bit.

yes forum use visual verification, would be interested to know how spambots bypass it! I just added email / user confirmation for registration... let's see how much this helps.

there are a number of pieces of software which use specific pattern recognition techniques to break common visual tests like these. They remove noise, then identify individual characters and work on pattern-matching them. Some just brute-force it from a hash, it all depends.

For the memberlist, although it's filling up with bot names, everyone has the option of sorting it by number of posts, which will leave all the spammers at the end with zero since their post count goes down once their thread is deleted :idea:

Loose is much cheaper to use then pouches, thats why loose. Only pouches i can use without coming angry for such a low nicotine is Skruf Stark, General Onyx, Stronc cut and Maxi pouches like Grov Maxi or General Maxi. What i want from snus is, a) Good baking ability (don't punish me for my bad english) b) Nice flavour and c) That i can use the snus over an hour without it starting to spread in my mouth. So i choose you Röda. You can build an aero-****ing-plane from it if you wish.

I think you should try Göteborg Prima Fint. It's even easier to handle than Röda, and IMO the taste is also better. Give it a try if you haven't yet .Rallar is THE snus for making a prilla, but it's very hard to get.

I have to agree with the opinions about Goteborg's Prima Fint - you just might be able to build an airplane out of it! It's like working with clay. I got 3 tins with my loose mix from Buysnus.com and didn't know what to think at first since I had read very little about it. It is very easy to form the prefect pris (I don't even have to build little pyramids to be sure it's packed well enough!) with it, and almost no mess. Maybe because it is so finely ground? The flavor is mild-tobacco-ey with a bit of an herbal/floral fragrance a la Goteborg's Rape', but nice and gives a good nicotine burn as well. I am very impressed with this snus and recommend it to anyone. Glad I got more than one tin of this one!
