The flavor is much greater with loose, but portion is much easier to handle and dispose of.
My top 3 would be:
Loose: Skruf stark, General extra strong, General original.
Portion: General extra strong original, 66 degrees north by skruf, General onyx white.

Yay Los! I confine mine in a tea bag all natural like and make the size I'm want at the time. It half the price but also more than half the selection

Now, this thread has been inactive for almost 3 years, so I thought it was about time to get it rolling again, even though it was inactive for almost 6 years the last time.

I have - despite living in Denmark - actually never tried loose snus. I only use pouches. I don't think I would know how to use the loose, and I am certain that it would be all over my mouth within a few seconds. I prefer General Classic white mini, but most mini portions that are not too strong will probably do.

I have a job that requires traveling to Norway and Sweden 3-4 times a year. So often, I can bring my snus home from these trips. But I have also somtimes bought from snusline.com, and today I have tried topsnus.com for the first time. I am awaiting my snus at the moment.

You have to try it Jon_M! With a really good loose snus brand you can taste so much more than the portions - and for the main part, loose snus is not as messy as you think - you just have to learn how to bake it and keep it there without messing with it and it stays put until you get rid of it!

Los for flavour & cost, pouches for convenience. I can't bake to save my life so pris tool is a must for me.

Aside from the occasional mudslide, Los is the way to get the best out of a good Snus.

I prefer los; for me there is no comparison. Flavor is way better, value (18g < 37g), etc. Unfortunately I use portions far more than I use pouches because I deal with clients/vendors at work that might not appreciate looking at a mudslide in the middle of a meeting.
