Oh that's interesting. I wonder what compelled this shop owner to buy from AG since he says he doesn't know a whole lot about snus.
And when I say "I heard..." It's usually because I read it on a forum and I remember someone saying something along the lines of "most swedes use general until the day they die" but maybe that was just an assumption. Thanks for the advice maybe ill tell the shopkeeper to order some better stuff haha

That doesnt sound right to me. From what ive heard they use more snus than cigs in sweden. It does make sense that kids are more atractted to smoking than snus though.

Yea I bet it's probably like a regional thing like how dip is popular in the souther states and smoking more in cities. I just got some general mint, I only tried the green one and hated it but maybe the blue is less harsh mint and I never wanted to throw down 6 bucks for it, but for a dollar what can I lose? I would've bought the whole roll of original but I want to give others a chance at snus.

Update, I actually like the regular mint General WP. I hated the green can though. This is a more natural mint flavor. Good change of pace

However, I called a few local shops from generals website to see if they had Los and most of them said they stopped carrying general since it didn't sell. So who knows. But at .99 I'm sure people are trying it out and maybe becoming regular snus users.

Thanks for the info. We are in the midst of the General sale here too. It doesn't seem to be selling as well as I would have thought. I've bought well over a hundred cans (mainly WP). If it holds up in the freezer, I'll be well fixed for several years.

Green one is wintergreen, and its not the best tasting snus ever made!

You bought 100 cans today? Damn haha I bought like 4 in total so far. I always feel guilty stocking up on stuff I might stock up but lately I can see gum recession and slight tooth staining which bothers me. I have perfect teeth and really white which I don't wanna screw up. So I might just buy 20-40 and if I do quit ill give them to friends or fellow forumers. It's too bad cause I love snus. But I think this general snus sale is making more people try snus, but I think this is a last ditch effort by Swedish match for American snus sale.

Agreed, I don't like it at all. It tastes like dip IMO so maybe that's to target dip users.

So, are you saying that you have only had four cans of snus and you are attributing gum recession and slight tooth staining to this?

Btw, grew up in Burbank (Magnolia Park), have not been there in decades though.

It took some fortitude for me to get through one can.......once was enough.

I would imagine thats the case, differnece is dip I am sure uses sugar but the snus is artificial sweetener so there is a noticeable difference in taste, its nasty!

Took me a long time to go through 1 can, think it had been in and out of the freezer more times than an icecube tray!

Yea that was the same way with the blue ocean! But with the freezer situation, is it the same with the coffee? It's okay before you open it but once you open and close it and air gets in you shouldn't freeze it? I just have a little wine fridge where I keep my snus.

I put mine back into an airtight bag to keep it fresh, no issues with freshnes that way and everything has always been fine.
