    Less Salty ?

I have been mainly using General Onyx, I have tried a bunch of brands but like that the best so far,

but by the end of the day, I get a very salty taste in my mouth, can anybody recomend some snus with a good tobacco flor, but is less salty?
    TIA

You should try Göteborgs Rapé White Portion as well. Definitely not very salty. A little sweet though, not exactly a pure tobacco flavor.

thanks for the replies, I'm pretty new and still experimenting with different
brands, I appreciate the input. I used Grov all day today, and same results,

good stuff but by the end of the day, it's just too salty for me to enjoy,
I have a can of Ettan I havn't tried yet , I'll try that tomorrow,

gotta get an order in for those other ones you guys reccomended as well.

is there any general rule to saltyness that anybody has noticed? like are the white portions usually more salty, than regular portions?

To be honest, all portions are somewhat salty, IMO.

Loose isnt. I like portions only because everyone ive had is salty.

However most Loose is not salty at all. And ive had almost all of them.

With portions Salt is something you are going to have to get use to.

the general rule is that all snus is salty.
sooner or later you won't notice it so much.
it is an aquired taste that actually took very little time for me to aquire.
If you never really get past it there is a snus called Triumph that is actually sweet. The salt is there, but sweet is dominant. Reminded me of beechnut. I've heard it described as peachy. Depending on where you live you may not be able to get it until it rolls out nation wide. It is sold in Ohio ans Georgia now.
You could try some other varieties, but I reckon sooner or later you'll not notice the salt so much. Like coffee, beer, or cigarettes the first few weren't that great.

Yeah. You do get use to the flavor, but thats why i lick the pouches under my gum. I love the salt flavor.

Thats what was pissing me off about Los. To me it had NO SALT, none of em.

But then ifound Landstroms, which is just right to me.

Being a former dipper i guess im attracted to salty tobacco. I notice for others its an annoyance.

Guess when you dip Cope and Redman for a long time you expect a salty tobacco flavor.

Jakobsson's IMHO is bitter (nice clean bitterness) but not too salty.

Ettan is the snus that is most clean, period.
No added flavor, not much (cooking) salt, hardly any!

                    ETTAN FOR PRESIDENT!

(just my $.02 and not worth much more) Two thumbs up for Ettan!!! Teriffic. Low salt, and you'll get used to the salt in portions. Ugh, Goteborgs any, Ugh, Roda Lackett. And if you know anyone in Ohio, or plead nicely with bakerbarber (and pay him for it), he might just send you some Triumph original. It's a really nice lightly subtley sweet natural peach flavor, balanced with just a tinge of salt. Great stuff.

                        payment is subjective. heh.
If anyone really wants some I'm open to trade, purchase for you, barter, favor to be excised at a later date...etc...
                        lol
I'm sure something can be worked out.

I am also open to trade some Triumph. I live in GA and can get it easy too. Just let me know. I am new to the world of snus so I am open to all trades.
