    Smokeless Tobacco free Alternatives

I was wondering if anybody knows of any products or upcoming products that fall into the smokeless category, contain no or very little tobacco, but do contain nicotine, say comparable with levels in swedish snus products 8-15mg? The only thing I can find that comes close would be the dissolvable Stonewall/Ariva products, or nicorette stuff. It would be nice if there was an a herb type tobacco free product that came in pouch form with a choice of nicotine levels.
Thanks and look forward to your opinions/replys

You can get fake chew. I have tried several different kinds and the only one I like was Hooch Fire. I did not like it enough to switch though. You might want to give Northerner pouches a try. They come in 6 mg and 3 mg strengths. I believe that there is also a snus with varying nicotine levels but of course, it isnt available in the USA.

RJ Reynolds has a nicotine lozenge called Revel in test markets right now. Seems to have a bit of a punch.

That one is called DOS and it does have tobacco in it. It's a tobacco/gum base type of product, half and half if you cut it open and take a close look. :-)

it tastes pretty good but, you have to give it a bit of a chew in order to get the Nicotine kick. But like you said Vegan.....not in the US.......yet. ;-)

I think you are going to miss the alkaloids in tobacco or MAOIs not just the nicotine but... yeah you can try the Northerner purified portions (or Dos or Al Capone) but for me they are nowhere near as effective as tobacco much like pharmaceutical nicotine replacement products. Check these nicotine snus-like pouches out too:

I ordered a couple packs of Stonewalls, just to be able to say I tried them before they're 'taken off the shelves' as it were (which I guess will happen when Northerner run out if stock, they are being discontinued).

                These will contain tobacco still.

                  True, just digressing.

On the 'no tobacco' front, for something that will pack a punch like snus, you're looking at a decent e-cig (the eGo/tornado is the standard by which most basic non-mod ecigs are set - or at least that was the case a couple of years ago, I've moved on and it could have changed lol) with 24mg/g+ e-juice. People who say they don't get nicotine from ecigs are either talking horseshit or are doing it ALL wrong, you can get loaded off these things, even to the other side of nicotine metabolism - opioid analgesia - which I've experienced.

Other than that, double-barreling 4mg Pharma lozenges has a similar effect to snus in terms of nic (but far less pleasurable without any freebasing agents)

                  www.nicotinewater.com lol :P

I say have a read up on snus and the work of Brad Rodu and consider taking the full whole tobacco alkaloid, snus.

You can try Grinds Coffee Pouches. The effect is the same for me, as far as I dont feel any nic hit for a long allready)) The taste is nice, try to suck the first of all and then put them under the lip, effect will be great.

Trust me on the Northerner pouches. I have used the for days at a time. The flavor is not as nice as plain snus but even the 3 Mg ones will eliminate your craving for nicotine.

Thanks for the responses. Whats a good online place to purchase the Northerner pouches, and other such alternative products? Never heard of Dos or Al Capone. Will definitely give it a try. Im just trying to cut back the amount of concentrated tobacco (and idealy less toxins) in the smokeless products I use.

Now there's a difficult question!! It sounds like one from GN's quiz.

Serious answer ... Northerner.com - but don't expect good service - you will probably get them in the end and the bonus is that at least the Northerner pouches will stay fresh as there is almost no moisture content.

Sometimes wrong and sometimes right .... but ALWAYS certain!!!
