From what I've heard from the SM North America guys.......they've discontinued the Ettan test, at least this is what they told me back in June of this year. They are however, looking at bringing other SM brands to the US market sometime next year. What brands they are looking at is anyone's guess but I tossed out General ES and GR loose. :-)

In an ideal situation, any snus your heart desires would be available at your local corner store at a reasonable price (for me that would be $6 or under). If I could get General Wintergreen and Mint, Nick and Johnny Radical Red, and Thunder Cool Orange within walking distance of my home, I'd be stoked!

Well, that sucks. I'd figured Ettan would be a runaway success, and the most obvious choice rather than General.Originally posted by The StigFrom what I've heard from the SM North America guys.......they've discontinued the Ettan test, at least this is what they told me back in June of this year. I remember at the last blogger meeting in Washington, DC they asked us what we thought should be added to US distribution and I think between the group of us that was there we gave them an entire page of brands we'd like to see added in the US, which pretty much covered the entire product line. I don't know if they took my "N&J Los" suggestion seriously or not, we'll see.Originally posted by The StigFrom what I've heard from the SM North America guys.......they've discontinued the Ettan test, at least this is what they told me back in June of this year. I wish there was more Canadian market penetration -- there's only one place selling General for $10/can in my area and it's a 40-minute drive. Damn this nanny country and its love of tobacco taxes.
Im better off planning a roadtrip to the US and pillaging a Buffalo tobacconist's General fridge.

by SnusOn.ComIt starts in the soil. Before someone even puts a seed in it, soil samples are taken to a laboratory in Sweden for analysis. Swedish Match experiments with cultivation in different countries to achieve the best possible raw tobacco. If declared a good soil for tobacco, seeds are planted and every step in the development and the cultivation of the plant is carefully ...
