    Triumph Original Los

No, it isnt a "real" thing...

I was watching a movie tonight and I decided to tear open all the portions in a full can and try it out as Los.

Being white portions, it was a bit more dry than the typical lossnus. All 24 portions filled up roughly 1/3 of the empty can. I added about 10 drops of water and shhook it a bit before it went back in the fridge for an hour.

I popped ity back out and the snus had expanded nicely to fill a bit more of the can. I filled up a 3-notch pris on my icetool 3ml and popped it under my lip. Immediately I could get a taste of the triumph flavor, but it was MUCH more muted than it is in portion form. The snus isself is super-finely ground like Prima Fint.

THe flavor as a los pris comes accross much more balanced. Like a sweet natural tobacco (similar to a mix of RL los and beechnut chew). The peach-like sweetness is still there, but it has given way to more tobacco sweetness.

I think from, here on out i'll be de-portioning all the triumph I buy. I just have to be a bit more careful with how much I take at once. I just warned someone the other day about loosing a portion snus and not overdoing it and here I am with one hell of a headache from overdoing it

I wish Swedish Match would make this as a lossnus under a name other than Triumph.

I think you'd be a nice shade of blue well before it ever becomes a store-bought los

Yeah I did this the other night.
The nic hit almost kept me from falling asleep.
I ended up mixing in some General loose after my first pris to cut the sugar. I actually thought it was sweeter as loose than portion.

The thing with triumph for me is the flavor, which is good, "soaks in" to my lip. If I don't have a beverage I can still taste it quite a while after taking it out.

As far as going los with it I plan on doing this again when I get through this can. I've got so many cans open now and after a month am stilll hard pressed to settle on one brand. Unlike cigarettes different times of the day dictate a different snus. It is great to have options. Triumph los would be a no brainer for morning coffee and after lunch when I prefer a hint of sweet. I need the general, nick n johny, and lucky strike, skruff, and etc.. first thing and throughout the day. I'm suprised my brand loyal behavior didn't carry over from smoking.

Been doing it for 16 months now bakerbarber, hasn't happened for me yet. I will say that I am proud and now have a list of about 20 favorites and over 80 cans sitting in my freezer. Oh yeah, I have another 14 open in the fridge as well. That is a bit overkill for me, as I got a number of cans that were open from here, so those went in the fridge too. But normally, I have about 8 open at any one time. My mood shifts from moment to moment, so want to be able to have the snus that matches that mood at any given time.

Oh yeah. It is definately different.

I actually tried what BB mentioned, only I used some Grov to cut it. It actually wound up as a pretty interesting mix.
