    - There facebook ads that can help you promote a page/group

    - There's other cheap advertising networks (not sure which ones accept tobacco companies)

_ drop me a line if you're interested to learn more.

    - A couple thousand $$ could get your a couple thousand prospects - (that's the ratio) however it takes time and yep effort -

True that, Facebook is essential for companies and non profit organisations. As I am now involved in another rally project aswell, we are building our main "base" to FB, really good for holding fan competitions or sharing quick news.

Tobacco people need to use all the resources they can. I'm anti facebook, but I'd probably have a page also if I was in the tobacco business. The immoral restraint of trade practiced against tobacco companies makes it hard getting information out to people.

I like you here, and you're always at the top of my recommendation list. I do wish you had more lössnus to recommend though ;^)
maby but still facebook is groving:

    Statistics

We had 845 million monthly active users at the end of December 2011.
Approximately 80% of our monthly active users are outside the U.S. and Canada.
We had 483 million daily active users on average in December 2011.
We had more than 425 million monthly active users who used Facebook mobile products in December 2011.
Facebook is available in more than 70 languages.

All of this in 8 years.. Crazy!

But im with you, if it was possible for me to get out of there i would, not so much of the security more for the time it takes to be envoled..
