Well, that sucks. In the last roll of Knox I received, the tip of one portion was sticking out of the tin and the label had been applied over it...they must be speeding up the process over there.

I'm being dead serious. You should mail that portion back to the manufacturer (SwedishMatch?). Write a nasty letter, stating that a portion like the one you received is completely unacceptable. Mention that you felt "betrayed" and the only way to correct the situation is a free can of KNOX.

Nah, I won't be doing that. I'm not angry with them (same company that makes Skruf - not SM). I've had hundreds of portions from both of their lines and this was the first one that was not up to standards. I actually find it pretty amusing. In any case, that's just what happens in mass production.

Yeah, that Knox is about the best snus I've found in the budget category, and I think it's even cheaper than Offroad.

Agreed. I thought I would never find a true favorite, but Knox has fit the bill in all aspects. It's the only one I snus for most of the day, everyday.

I remeber a few years ago when skruf was new on the Norwegian marked.
They sold so many portions in Norway that they had a hard time keeping up.

as a result you got portions with almost nothing in them (like the one you got) and portions that had holes in them so the tobacco was falling out of it.

a bit of problems with production and quality control.

but now their right on top and have been for a long time.

Maybe this is a sign that things will go back to those terrible days?
