Good lord you weren't lying.. I did a little research, a few bucks a bean hell thats the cost of the snus itself. Would one can of los require one bean? I mean if I can cut up the bean, slice it up to use for a few cans I could justify the cost.Originally posted by GoVeganSome of them but your best bet is at a produce store. They aren't cheap though.

Oh yeah, them shits is expensive.....just to reiterate that. I did mention that. I had some beer as well so I will repeat myself.
One bean simmered in water will probably give enough flavored water to do four tins. Just simmer one beanI in aI quart of waterthe and remove the bean from the water and reduce it to about half a cup and divide the liquid into four tins. Maybe reduce less and do a whole roll?
**** it. Buy the extract.

True, but pure vanilla essential oil (or any essential oil for that matter as long as it is pure and from a reputable source) - that is a natural flavouring. Only vanilla beans have been distilled to make it and nothing else, otherwise it wouldn't be a true "essential" oil. That is different from an essence which could be natural dissolved in alcohol, or entirely synthetic.Originally posted by GoVeganI am thinking that if I liked vanilla flavored snus and I don't, the best way would be taking a piece of whole vanilla bean and letting it sit in the can for a few days as mentioned above. Nothing beats natural flavoring.
