I forget what I paid for the tub now, but i know it was much cheaper. I guess the test is weather or not the snus is good.

Just come across some Pure Nordic here in Copenhagen, bought the ice mint and the original strong portions. Gotta say both are very good, usually a General man myself, but this is a slick product. Seems the Danes are catching on; I'd recommend it! =)

I ran across a Norweigan article that explains the details. I don't know if the recipe is the same but it's made by V2 in Denmark. This is the the Norweigan version of SnusX where you have to add water. Because Norway has high tobacco taxes, by reducing the amount of water in the product, the amount of tobacco tax being paid is reduced substantially which means Pure Nordic can be sold for half the price of regular snus in Norway.

Pure Nordic is a product line designed specifically for the over the counter market in Norway. It will not be made available to the internet snus eStores or outside of Norway.

I've tried it and it's pretty good but if you enjoy Thunder snus, you aren't missing too much. I picked up a few different cans on my last trip to Scandinavia; more to have the cans for my collection than finding a new favorite.

I'm very happy with Thunder Frosted, Thunder Original, and the new Thunder Coffee Supreme (should be in stock tomorrow or Thursday). I don't feel left out since I can't buy Pure Nordic over the web or in the US.
