At any rate, Original Poster---yes, both are good. I liked the Anis lös better than the portions, personally---the salt seemed to be more prominent in the portions. And Fläder is of course an old favorite of mine. Very unique snus. You'll either love it or not love it, but you'll find absolutely no other snus that is anything like it. Fläder is particularly good as a summer snus, in my opinion, so you're picking a good time to try it.
Edit: And oh yeah.....I miss Gotlandssnus Gul too, Jimmy!!

But didn't I read something earlier about that being possibly done, or being tested? I can't remember, but I'd kill several people for a shot at trying it.

I've had the Flader portion and it was interesting. Sort of a sour apple flavor, it took a while for it to grow on me. I'd say its a once in a while kind of thing. I've had the grey (anise, licorice) los and it wasn't bad at all. I cant comment on the portion version though, but I imagine the los would have more flavor.

Originally posted by lxskllrNortherner indicates the licorice is the old Gotland Grå, which I kind of suspected. It's one of the few portions on my roll buy list, but it isn't quite licorice. It's an herbal anis taste, which is very similar to licorice, but different. Worth a try for sure.
