2x8=16mg would consitiute an 'extra stark' rather than a 'stark' though (eg. Thunder, General Extra Stark etc) - Just for info.

You know, All I use is strong portion no more than 4 a day. which is the same as a regular portion person using 8, so I'm with frosted on this, Because after using snus for close to three years my useage has never gone higher than it was the day i started using. I've tried to go to reg portions but then i just use double the amount. Not very economical if you ask me..... But then again to each their own.

I've never used tobacco for the nicotine, it's always been for the taste. That's not to say I'm not addicted, but I'd have used tobacco(though likely not as much) if it didn't do anything at all physiologically.

I think I feel the same way about cigarettes. Disregarding the nicotine, there is something really nice about sitting next to a campfire and having a smoke with old friends.

I'm honestly not being disrespectful here - but that's like drinking alcohol simply for the taste. Got to say that viewpoint is a new one on me. Personally I'm in it for the taste and the feeling.

The whole point of snus is to get people off the cigarettes by any possible means in the first instance - then he can find his feet thereafter.
Having said that - we don't even know if he is using it to stop smoking lol.
Do you have this mutation already? Can this mutation be cause by outside factors? I think we are kidding ourselves if we are trying to equate using snus with eating an apple. There is no safe tobacco product only safer tobacco products. In my opinion, keeping your nicotine intake as low as possible is a good idea.

???? I didn't say that tobacco was safe.

lxs is not saying that he isn't addicted or he doesn't enjoy the effects of nicotine. He is just trying to point out that the primary goal of using snus should be to enjoy the flavors and not just get a nicotine rush. Although I am not lxs and I could be way off on this. LOL

You were trying to negate the article I posted showing a possible link between nicotine use of all forms and cancer.

I drink alcohol for the taste too :^D

I don't mind a mild alcohol buzz, but I've never liked being drunk. I'm not as clear where I stand on the alcohol issue. My preferred drink is whisky, and the alcohol is necessary for the burn, and warming feeling. If you could duplicate that, but remove the head buzz, I'd still drink, but I suspect that might take a bit of the enjoyment out. I'm not sure tbh :^/

                            Perhaps a drink would help!

If you've got a mutation already - nicotine will speed up the cancer which is why when you've got cancer the doctors tell you to stop nicotine intake. From reading this article it doesn't say to me that nicotine causes cancer.
