Am I the only one who dislikes General Onyx?

Overall, I think Onyx is good. Not my everyday snus but...

My first can was awesome. It tasted very peppery and strong. Then a can I got a year later tasted so much lemon, not very good... however, after half the can, the lemon taste disappeared a bit and out came that peppery, rich flavor again. Strange kind of snus... but I like it!

I have this thing with Onyx, where I oscillate between loving it and hating it. Most other Snus I've made my mind up about, but not Onyx.

I love Onyx.... it was one of my first snuses.

As fars as the slime factor goes, it did get slimy when I first started to use it. I quickly found that if I didnt tongue it or drink sugary drinks before or during it didnt get slimy. (I also still use N&J Black with the same results.

But it could be just me.

I would agree with this. I despise the black portion material. It has this weird chemical taste that ruins the taste of the snus. N&J Black had it as well and it ruined what would otherwise have been a great snus.

I actually think that General Sterk is pretty much just Onyx repackaged in a white portion.....similar taste without the disgusting portion material.

Ps: The portion material also ruined Grov Black.

I can't believe so many of you don't like the onyx. Out of all the SNUS I have tried so far, that is my "go to" SNUS. Couple points:

1. I don't find it slimy at all. Actually mine are kind of dry / semi-moist
2. I think the hairs (for a lack of a better term) show up more because they are black??

Any that have extra non-expired cans are welcome to trade me for some General Smooth if you are interested.

I like onyx alot actually. I don't use it as much as others though, but it is very smooth and flavorful with an excellent kick...

I like the taste of Onyx, but it isn't an all day kind of snus. I also second the slimy portion thing. They're sometimes hard to keep in place. They get slicker than baby snot and almost shoot out of your mouth :^D

N&J lös tasted like Onyx to me. I thought it tasted more like Onyx than N&J portions.
