I got my order today from Northerner (only took 1 day!) and in it, I got a little surprise. Granted it's been a while since my last order, but I was just curious to see if anyone else received anything like this recently.

There were 10 portions included in this little pouch.

Yeah I remember checking the survey box. For whatever reason, I thought it was because I got a few promo items with some rolls I ordered. (doesn't make much sense now that I think about it)

I heard somewhere they are already secretely making it in the restroom in the PA warehouse.

My Review of Survey Pack #8

Upon opening the pouch up, I got a very pleasant aroma of citrus. My initial thought was Earl Grey tea, which uses bergamot flavoring. After I popped in in my lip, I didn't really notice much at first. It is a white portion, so that was expected. This one seemed to take a little longer to get to the flavor though. The first thing I noticed was that there was very little salt. It's a little peppery, but not over powering. The bergamot flavor is present but subtle. It sort of leaves a bitter taste in your mouth though while using it and after taking it out. It's a bit dry, but the portions sit quite comfy in my lip. Didn't notice much nicotine though. I couldn't feel even the slightest nic hit.

Overall, not the worst I've had, and steps beyond camel/marlboro but it's not something I'll find myself using daily. I'm not sure if I'd ever buy it in the future, unless it was a cheap fix. The smell was the best part, but the flavor was lacking.

After trying a 2nd portion, the flavor was more evident. It's good for like the last 10 minutes lol.

What's the top selling snus in the US?

Camel? Marlboro? Skoal? or General Dry White Mini Mint? I'd tend to bet that it isn't an OP.

Focus groups composed of smokers showed a desire for small, drier snus portions. However, focus groups composed of smokeless tobacco users (dip, chew) concluded a desire for larger, moister portions. I contend American companies are moving toward large, moist pouched products, as illustrated by recent snus products released by R.J. Reynolds and Philip Morris.

Clarification: I didn't mean to imply Americans desire Original Portions. Most surveys indicate a preference for white portions.

Ehhhh. My private label should be ready in a few months. I'll make a batch of C/V for you, and see if I can master the flavor of vomit for CJ and clone Level.

Statistically speaking, Americans prefer White Portions. Also, countries outside Sweden seem to prefer White Portions as well.

Thunder should come out with a strong, white portion variety. I believe it would be successful, especially in Norway.
