    You're hardly snusing dude!
I quit smoking with snus and I've been using nothing but Sterks...I know I'm addicted to nicotine but with snus its like I can go 3-4 hours without a portion and be ok. Plus I pay outrageous PACT taxes on my shipments so I gotta keep my use to a minimum to be cost effective. Maybe if I was using OP versus Sterks I would go through more.

Theres alot of reasons I love snus. I love it for alot of the same reason already mentioned but I also love the freedom using snus has compared to ciggs. The reason I started in the first place was cause I was working for a company that didnt allow smoking on the job sites and id really really need a cigg. When I bought dip, I was spitting alot and got alot of dissaprooving looks and comments, so I tried the spitles snus camel was peddeling. Since then I have found a ton of freedoms in snus. You can run, ride bikes, Skate or ski, dance, drum, guitar, work, fishing and alot of other stuff while snusing. Ciggs made doing stuff more difficult. I feel bad for all the suckers standing outside ,freezing there buns off everynight at the bar sucking down them ciggs.

I don't feel bad for them. Especially if I've told them all about the wonders of snus!

I can't take snus when doing much physical activity...especially that which raises my heart rate to say over 125bbm. It ends up juicing way too much and I want to wretch.

The Taste is how I voted.

The Health benefits is why I keep using it.
The price is too high, even for the lower priced products, so no I don't buy it for the price.
The Nic Hit. No I don't buy it because of any kind of Nic Hit. Most I have to use the smallest amount (pris) I can use to keep from getting to much.
I am addicted to nic, so it does keep me from smoking. And I haven't found one yet that dosen't taste good. Even the Wintergreen I can tolerate in small widely spaced doses.

Oh, it's the nicotine for me, its too expensive and I get way more pleasure from snuff.

edit. I may just be rationalising, as I can't afford to buy any more once my stock is used up. I was relying on VIP to keep me in snus for the last few months.

I keep buying MORE because of this Damn forum! I have enough to last me another 2 months and just bought 34 more cans because I found out they were discontinuing Off Road Long Cut and I wanted to try Coola. If I was not on this forum I would not have known any of that. It doesnt make sense with shipping to just buy what I want so I keep trying new stuff. That leads me to like some of the new stuff that I only got 1 can of so I buy more and the cycle repeats itself. As far as price it is A LOT cheaper than smoking. I smoked at least 2 packs a day. That is over 10.00 a day about 300.00 a month depending on how many days are in that month. Snus costs me a little over 4.00 a can with shipping we could round up to 5.00 and since 1 can lasts me 2 days it's 2.50 a day thats 75.00 compared to 300.00 not bad however if the price of snus goes up like cigarettes did ,I already have 5 boxes of Nicorette as an exit strategy.

                        I vote taste.

I don't come from a country, where smoking is expensive... (1 snus can is worth about 5 packs of contraband Winston +/- 1 pack, if you buy from the northerner from the Swedish warehouse with no discount/deal) so the price isn't persuasive.

The nic hit is great, but if it tasted bad I still wouldn't buy it

I do it mainly for the nic hit - i find it the most successful way to still enjoy cigars but minimise my useage of them.

Plus i like the ease of use of it... it being quite discrete.

The Taste: I love General (ONYX, Long Sterk). It tastes great to me! Also works pretty well as an appetite suppressor, for when I can't go out to get something to eat (or can't afford it!)

The Price: I used snus to quit smoking. I smoked a pack a day, which cost me approximately $2400 a year. A tin of snus lasts me three days, as such, I've been going through a roll a month. Two rolls cost me around $90, which totals to $45 a month, which finally adds up to approximately $560 a year. Less than 1/4 what I was paying to smoke cigarettes and kill myself slowly in the process! I also love being able to take snus in class, and not trouble my neighbors by smelling like an ashtray.

The Nic Hit: I'm hopelessly addicted to nicotine, and have no intentions of even trying to quit before I'm out of college.
