I've never tried Ettan original portion or General original portion. Snusing Grovsnus, Ettan or General Løs is excellent, but when I go for portions, I'll use something else. Thanks to you, actually, I have two new favorites. General Onyx and Jakobssons Wintergreen. Your reviews on them are excellent, so there was no bad surprises. I'm Sjureman in youtube, one of your subscribers.

I think white portions are excellent on-the-go; if you are walking around in the city doing errands etc. Although at home or when chilling out, original portions are my number one choice portion wise. I have grown very fond of loose lately though, so at home, that is now my number one choice. When meeting people and being out, it's just too messy.
I don't think I could use white portions regularly though - they are too dry! Some times I have bought rolls of, for example, Göteborgs Rapé White, and it's good, but half-way through of the ten cans I get sick of it and want something more moist.
Grov Original Portion is the best portion there is for the record.

Ettan whites taste quite different then the Los. I think I would prefer the OP
General Original portion has way too much drip for my tastes and irritates my throat. Revisited this one a third time with the same conclusion.
General white is my everyday work Snus.

Glad to read a couple of good reports for Ettan OP and Grov OP, because I've just taking delivery of a can of each to try them out!

I can only use a few white portions a day for two reasons. 1. They don't seem to give me the nicotine fast enough (that might be in my head) 2. White portions make my gums hurt. I am sure however that all this will change maybe even today since it seems like my tatses change constantly.

Grov OP was one of my top favorite portions before I switched to lös. It still great of course, but I don't use it like I once did. I don't remember much regarding Ettan portion. I've had 1 tin each of the OP and white, and that was when I first started. I do remember preferring Grov, but none of the particulars.Originally posted by muddyfunkstar View PostGlad to read a couple of good reports for Ettan OP and Grov OP, because I've just taking delivery of a can of each to try them out!

I can't stand white portions. With the exception of a can of Roda that jagmans sent me a few months back, I haven't had a white portion in a couple years. As others have noted, they are too dry, too rough, and too slow to get started for me. Just thinking about white portions reminds me of the Catch Eucalyptus I got with my very first snus order, the sample box from Northerner. And in my opinion, Ettan White is the most boring snus available -- it takes subtlety to a new level (not that Level).

As a newb, my first couple of orders were all los varieties. My last oreder included a tin of Lucky Strike Nites extra strong black portions. With these little gems, I'm happy to report I've found my go-to snus when socializing. The material is like spun silk and very comfortable. Though they are the first portions I've tried, I cannot phathom any other portions being more comfortble in the mouth. For at home and outdoor activities, I'll stick with los though.

Try Onyx also. They have the black portions which are very soft too. Black portions seem to slime up easier than regulars. Not sure why :^/Originally posted by pinklungs View PostAs a newb, my first couple of orders were all los varieties. My last oreder included a tin of Lucky Strike Nites extra strong black portions. Thanx...I will put a tin of Onyx in my next order! The LS blacks are so delicious I nearly bit right through one! Does Onyx provide a similar taste experience?Originally posted by lxskllr View PostTry Onyx also. They have the black portions which are very soft too.
