Los or Portions?

Hanske, I love a huge pris every now and again.. What's funny is the nic hit is alot better than say an extra sterk portion that slaps you in the face. It's more smooth to me.

Being a former smoker who would use a tin of Kodiak dip per month, I was fine starting with lossnus. I find that los is a much more authentic tobacco experience than portions. While it takes a bit of getting used to, los just beats the hell out of portions on every level: taste, nic, length of flavor, pairing with beverages, and on and on.

I use a can of los every 4 days or so and 1 can of portions per month. The portions only come with me to places where it is tough to bake a pris or use an icetool (movie theater, orchestra, etc.)

Another thing I love about the los is that I get tiny bits of tobacco and get to chew them in my teeth and gives a damn good boost of flavor :-)

Good - then quit trying to outbid me on the Catch. I don't even like eucalyptus that much but will stock it if I can get it real cheap.

I use about 12 to 15 portions per day. I used to use half a can of los per day, but stopped when my gums started getting torn up.

For me, it's really simple. I use lös when at home and portions when in public and dealing with people... I like both delivery systems, and while lös is arguably a cleaner, purer tobacco experience, to say it's like sex vs. masturbation or something strikes me as silly. As already mentioned, I like that lös gives you much better value for your dollar, and also appreciate the no-fuss, no-mess convenience of portions. Even with my Icetool, I still inevitably get bits of loose snus bits in my teeth etc...

... If I HAD to choose between one or the other, it would be portion snus due to the ability to use it cleanly and discreetly. But I'm glad to not have to make that choice.

I use mainly portions because after a can of los I've got sores on my gums
I've got a whitespot on my gum thats been there for about two weeks now from over los-ing in december

I prefer los due to the much nicer way it delivers nicotine and the better, less salty taste. General los is the best tasting tobacco I've ever put in my mouth. But portions win out for me on practicality alone.
