    About Jacobsson's new STRONG classic?

Tastes a little like pine needles. Anyhoo., Is this what I got or is it the regular strength?

Thats regular. The strong comes in a white can I believe. I've yet to try the strong myself but the pictures I've seen are all a white can similar to the strong wintergreen

Just send them an email, or use their ticketing system. Northerner did the same thing to me on my last order. I used the online ticketing thing, mostly to see if it works, and it did. They sent the right one the same day, and I didn't have to send the regular back. I'm guessing they have someone picking the orders that hasn't yet been schooled on the new Jaks.

BTW, the classic strong doesn't taste like the regular. It's much better IMO. I'm liking all 3 of the new Jaks, and I usually hate "mint" snus. They are kind of sweet, maybe too sweet, but I like that when I'm in the mood for sweet.

Thanks for the tip. I opened a ticket @ GetSnus. They've always treated me well to. Definitely sounds like I would prefer the Strong. Like I said, this regular tastes a little too much of pine needles. Due-able in a pinch I guess.

I prefer the regular Classic. The strong has been growing on me, but it'll never be a purchase for me. I don't like wintergreen at all, so I haven't tried it. Other wintergreen haters have said they liked it, but I can't be bothered. It's a portion, it's wintergreen, and it's strong. Three strikes, and you're out :^D

The mint... Ah, the mint. This is a snus that'll likely be a roll buy when I get the money to purchase snus. The flavor's very distinct, and while I'm partial to mint anyway, this one is a cut above the rest. Fairly complex, with an herbal backbone. The light sweetness enhances the snus instead of being irritating like other brands. The whole thing comes together being reminiscent of schnapps, or Barenjager, especially the back taste after it's died down a bit. It isn't an all day snus for me, but an awesome dessert snus for late in the evening. It's like Grov or Ettan in use(mellow, and contemplative), but for different reasons. If Ettan were scotch, Strong Mint would be vodka and honey :^)

Got a can of the Strong Mint in my last order, I've been looking for a mint snus that had great flavor and strength without being overly sweet... I think I've found it... I give this a buy recommendation...

The mint is good. Its not too sweet, but also not painfully synthetic like frosted.

I don't like either of the classics, strong is just like regular to me. To be fair though, I can't abide any Gotlands or Jakobssons portions. Too dry and too fruity. Except, apparently, the mint strong. That shit is good.

I like the Classic Strong. It has a slight licorice taste to me and I love licorice. Haven't tried the Mint but I love the Wintergreen.

From what I've heard, the Strong variant contains a sweetener to appeal toward American consumers. My question is: why do tobacco companies assume American consumers love sweet flavors? Why can't they be like Swedish Match and sell authentic snus that isn't tainted with Splenda? Perhaps you were blessed; the Original Portion probably tastes better than the Strong Portion.

Agreed. Now in the case of mint or wintergreen sweeteners make it better. Jaks hit the nail on the head with the wintergreen. But Marlboro and Camel are so sweet they should be classified as candy. They make me hurl. And Swedish Match is guilty too. General Mint is so sweet it's sickening too.

I think it is sweeter but not like camel. I have had jaks wg and even though I loved it I must admit that it was almost sweeter than grizzly but it was still good.

Due to he who shall remain nameless I just received some Jak's Mint. After a couple portions I'm not impressed but possibly it will grow on me. The tobacco certainly seems to come through in this one as opposed to Gen. Mint or T. Frosted. The straight and strong might be a winner which will be good since it may, MAY I emphasize, be available locally--eventually.
