I was thinking about when I first started with snus few months back and I was all into the mints, and different flavored types, and one thing alot of you said was after a while people gravitate to the more traditional tobacco tastes and that's happened with me. I'm loving the ettan and general Los the most.. I haven't tried grov or skruf yet I got a couple cans of the los for both in the freezer I'm going to try real soon and I heard they have a good basic tobacco flavor. I do love my general mint don't get me wrong but when I do my next bulk order it's going to be 75 percent good ole basic tobacco goodness.
You guys were right.... Again!

My snus journey started with lots of flavors and ended with me using General Ekstra Sterk 80% of the time.

Once you try Gorv you might not go back to anything else. Except maybe Ettan. Grov rocks the house.
Now, I definitely prefer tobacco flavored snus but Gotlands Anis is something that I think I'll always want around. In los, of course. You'll still want the flavored snus for the occasional changeup, but tobacco is what we come for...it's what we should get. Too bad the US snus producers don't get that.

I went from Rape #2 to General White Mint to Catch Pure Mint to Northerner Ooomph to Norhterner Wintergreen. In a good place but plan to try some of the traditional flavors with the long pouch ala Lab01,02 etc... The last three brands were for comfort/discreetness, as my wife gives me sh*t when she can see a bulge in my lip. The other bulge she pays no mind to..hahaOriginally posted by Owens187 View PostI used to use General Wintergreen all the time, but have found myself ordering General White alot more now. Though I still love me some Thunder Frosted!

Funny you mention it, just defrosted the Grov los trying it out now, easy to handbake and really good flavor, will definetely add a few cans to my next oder. I'll be adding flavors of course to my next order as well but it'll mostly be the basics.Originally posted by WickedKitchen View PostOnce you try Gorv you might not go back to anything else. I feel the same way about most things tobacco... I was a hookah nut, in all its nasty sugary fruity glory, then reacquainted myself with snus, discovered lös, General, Prima Fint. Now some cigars and pipes here and there. Natural tobacco flavor is the best.
I do change up my natural snus with Gotlands Gul and flavored V2 from time to time.

It's pretty similar to cigar smoking, cigarettes or snuff..
Most people prefer the plain cigars over the cherry ones..
Plain cigarettes over the menthol ones ...

I'll have to add both to my next order..Originally posted by lxskllr View PostI had always said I preferred Landströms, but after coming back to it, I think I like Gellivare better now. I imagine it'll always be a dual roll buy, but the Gellivare has been doing a better job of hitting the spot.

I agree with that. The Landstroms is a nice in between snus but the Gellivare just seems so clean and simple and can be used anytime. I have also noticed that both brands are quite gentle on the gums. Good luck with hand baking either one though as they are quite grainy. I do think they are much better than General los. I also like Ettan but not quite as much. Ettan has a nice buttery flavor to it but is a bit light on the tobacco flavor. My favorite los would be in this order so far.
1. Gellivare
2. Gotlands Original
3. Landstroms
4. General
5. Ettan
You do owe it to yourself to try Gotlands Original los if you haven't yet. At first it seems very simple and almost grassy but it grows much more complex the longer you keep it in.

I've heard really good things about the gotlands as well, need to try it.. I know we all sound like broken records but this pact crap really screwed things up.. Miss the days on a whim could order a few cans to try.. When I get my tax refund I'm going to do a couple hundred dollar order to drop the price per can. Just sucks watch I'll order two cans of the gotlands los for example love the hell out of it, gotta wait months to order a roll. Damn government!

You could split the difference over 2 orders. Get a roll or 2 of stuff you know you like, and throw in individuals of everything you want to try. Once you've gone through the individuals, you can place another heavy order.Originally posted by EricHill78 View PostI've heard really good things about the gotlands as well, need to try it..
