So will it be possible to get skruf again in the us ever? I thought for sure they would submit it to the fda since it is a popular snus. I didn't really keep up with the pact act since I was sitting on 6 rolls of General Stark and Skruf. It there a snus in the us that taste similar to Skruf? I love general but want something with out so much peppery flavor right now.

It's a bit more complicated then that. The who thing a legal quagmire. Buysnus/snuscentral doesn't have a US warehouse so are not held to the same restrictions that Northerner/Getsnus is. Well.... that's my understanding which I admit is limited. There are actually two laws at play. One is the Kennedy/Waxman bill. That's the one that says that all tobacco products have to be registered with the FDA. Skruf has not registered so Northerner can't sell it. But..... buysnus is selling it because they don't have a US warehouse and are selling directly from Sweden..... or something like that

The second law is the PACT act. You don't pay taxes at buysnus because there is no way for a state to collect taxes from a overseas e-store. Paying the taxes is your responsibility...... and I'm sure all the good citizens here at snuson would never even think about not paying there fair share....... Now..... there may be a few sick twisted minds out there for whom not paying your fair share is an inviting proposition............. but really...... that's just plain wrong........ so be a good citizen please....... your govment needs you now more then ever

Stubby, did you read the article about how Doyle raised the tobacco tax here to fund anti-tobacco programs, then a few months later cut the smokers helpline. What an ass. I don't like the new guy, but I'm really glad Doyle is gone!
