Knox, for sure. 8) I actually like it better than Skruf; I just seem to be able to taste it better. I'll be the odd man out and say that I don't dig Granit at all; it tastes like Tang to me...
Whats your favorite cheap snus?

Knox has really grown on me. I've basically been using it non-stop for the past two days. It might very well be my new "go-to" snus for when I'm out and about. The flavor is great. It isn't too bold, but it still has a very noticeable and distinct (and yummy!) taste. I even like the moisture content of the portions. They're kind of halfway between an original portion and a white portion. They are moist, but not as obviously as the other original portions I use such as Granit, Lucky Strike, and Ettan.
I've never tried the Skruf portions, but Knox is excellent all around. I'm buying rolls of this stuff from now on. I'll throw some of the loose in with my next order.
I can't believe it's only $17.37 for a roll. That's a stellar deal. If they charged full price (and by full price I mean $25 or up) I'd still buy this stuff and be perfectly happy.
The can looks cool too. I'm a sucker for good packaging.

Just received a mix shippment
Yippy, I just received my mixed shipment from BuysSnus.com. This is my first order from BuySnus.com and I am impressed and excited about trying some of this stuff out. I was a little worried ordering the mixed rolls, figured I would get bottom of the barrel stock they couldn't sell. I actually got a pretty good mixture of allot of brands I have been wanting to try (Ettan, Tre Ankare, General original, Onyx & white, Goteborgs Rape, ect ect.). I ordered two rolls of the portions and got about 10 cans of regular and 10 cans of white portions. At first I was hesitant on the white portions, mainly because I thought they would be like the Camel Snus (small, dry, and overloaded with artificial flavor). What I have tried so far is pretty good; in fact I may switch to white portions since they are supposed to last longer? I did get a can of level in the lose snus; I'll approach with caution after reading some of the threads on this site. No Nick & Johnny, Montecristo or Romeo & Juliet but all n all a pretty good selection with no duplicates at least if you count white vs. regular as different.

Granit is a very good lower cost snus and also Knox. I thought I would like Kronan from reading the description, but it tasted like freshly mowed grass to me and yes, I've tasted freshly mowed grass. Granit, so far, has been the best lower tier brand and would actually classify it as a middle class brand instead. Reminds me of General.

I'm going to have to jump on the Knox bandwagon here, because this stuff is freakin' awesome. I opened up my first can yesterday, and it's been pretty much all I've chewed today. There will definitely be a roll in my next order (and it may actually be the only thing I buy a full roll of this time around).
I'll have to try the Granit too, since a lot of people seem to be recommending it here.

And I'll be the second person to say, I was going to say the same exact thing. Phantom....really........hmm. Well, different strokes for different folks.

So far I've tried Kronan portion, Offroad Strong portion, and got a free can of Offroad peach portion and didn't like any of them. Kronan tasting like grass was right on the mark. The Offroad strong wasn't too bad (won't buy again though) and the peach tasted like chemicals. I will try granit and knox on my next buy though.

Nothing wrong with that man. I enjoy several of V2's tobacco products where most do not. I just wish more of their flavors were available as loose instead of portions. General and OR Cran are the two things that I make sure I never run out of. I've run out of one or the other before and it made me very sad in the pants. I wont let it happen again
One thing I can say is that there is no loose that bakes as easily as a V2 product. Not even prima fint or roda lacket. It also has an amazingly coarse grind to it. Even moreso than Grov i'd say.

I started out with V2 tobacco products along with Knox loose. I initially enjoyed the loose wintergreen and did not like the knox loose. It reminded me of earthworm excrement. Now, after snusing for about 9 months my staple is Knox portion. I really enjoy the stuff. After getting some info from my fellow forum users about different flavored snuses to try, I have really enjoyed the inexpensive LD portion red label. It last a really long time and I like the, what I would probably incorrectly call, cranberry flavoring. At $2.25 a can at buysnus I will definitely be mixing it up with Knox.Next, I would like to comment on Phantom. I don't think it is too bad myself, though I am probably like the originator of this post. It is a little too peppery and salty, likely to cover other off flavors? I might pick up another when I buy a roll. It also is a nice little change in flavorings. For $1.77 you can't go wrong with the change in flavor once in a while unless you really abhor it.

Ok, I know this will destroy any chance of gaining credentials as a snus coinsure on this site, but I actually like the Level portions. I don't know about doing them all the time, but I got some in a mix I ordered and I like one every once in a while to mix things up.
