The V2 was slightly cheaper last year ... $1 per can or so ..

Nice looking festive can. I like it!!! I hope SnusCentral and BuySnus are going to carry it so I can get it stickerless.. If so I will be placing another order along with some other snus for the Holiday's to offset the shipping...

It should be out soon. Gotland has really sped up the release of Julesnus. Previously it didn't come out until advent. I imagine V2 will release theirs by the middle of November.

I'm not entirely and completely sure, But I could have sworn V2 came on here with a thread an announced that the V2 Julesnus won't be comming out this year...

It's special, but it's not a set as was previously released. Two summers ago they released a 10 tin/5 flavor limited edition set. They didn't do that this past year. I'd be very surprised if they didn't release their julesnus. It's a very popular product.

I prefer the Gotland product by a wide margin, but the impression I get is people's taste is split 50/50 between the products. I got the V2 the first year it came out, and the wine notes were a little too pronounced for my tastes. Gotland was more spice dominant, and tasted like a subtle, unsweet cookie dough. V2 changed their formulation last year, but I didn't have any for comparison. I traditionally don't like V2 portions, but I haven't had any in quite awhile. They may be better now. The Gotland portions are very good, but as with most snus, I prefer the lös. Keep in mind that's primarily what I use, so I'm biased. The lös flavor comes through stronger, and has a better mouth feel imo. V2 lös is very coarse, and I can't use my IceTool with it. It packs it too hard, and hurts my gums. Grabbing a pinch and lightly baking works well though, and the coarse grind is nice.

If you were only to buy 1, or buy a majority of 1 product untested, I'd go with Gotland. They were the first to have Julesnus, and I'd get it in lös form. Xmas is traditional, and it's best experienced with a traditional product imo.

I mean otherwise that would be a shame.
