Yup, there is a loose version! Both (as I understand it) have already been submitted to the FDA for approval so shouldn't be too long before we can start selling it in the US as well.

It seems more bitter, which could be the presence of licorice (which is mentioned in the product description). Though I didn't pick up that particular taste, maybe the bitterness is it's presence. The flavor of tobacco is predominant, which is what I think of when I think of Grov, but it doesn't have that traditional taste that Grov has, it's not in that league and I think it's due to the 50/50 cigar/snus tobacco blend. It's much more salty than Grov. I think it's in the same "idea" of Grov as pure tobacco snus, but it's just a different approach.

Stem tobacco lends itself to some bitterness, that not a bad thing. Licorice and anise flavours are a good fit with darker tobaccos. Is there any detectable smoke flavouring? Hot about the nic level?
Added thought salmiak and anise/licorice are a natural combination. Salmiak also has a salty taste.

I am really interested in this snus . I don't smoke cigs anymore but i do enjoy a good cigar every once in a while. The flavor profile as it has been described so far is exactly what i like, would have to be the los version though. Definitely on the to try list.

Snus is banned in Iowa. I'm not sure if anyone can actually order in Iowa any type of smokeless tobacco.

Its Northerner that cant ship to Iowa. I just did a recent order from Buysnus that made it to Iowa. Also did a Toque order that came just fine.

I don't think it's available to us lowly FDA restricted Americans yet.
