Nick and Johnny Strong (regular, not black portion)

What can I say? This is good stuff. I'm on my first can and am already in love with it. I bought a can in my last order, thinking it would taste of pure tobacco, but that isn't that case. It has a sweet, sort of tart undertone. It also has a sweet smell to it. Has anyone else noticed this? What do you taste with nick and johnny strong portion?

I've only had the black portions. I like the flavor but I can't really describe it. Your description seems good.

N&J Strong is my favorite portion. Reminds me of autumn leaves, leather, a little smoke, maybe bit of licorice? I dunno but its awesome.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who tastes leather. It remands me of the nice broken in leather of a saddle or something. I get a warm, autumn feeling from it. There's pepper in there too. It's nice. I have one most mornings as my wake-up snus with a hot cup of joe.

My favorite thing is jamming my nose deep into a fresh can of this stuff. If the can is rather newly made you get a major amount of ammonia in them...mmm, fresh snus.

I thought I would hate it but I got a great deal on a roll of it so I picked it up. Good stuff..

The black portions are really good too, I have some of their white portions but I have yet to try it yet.

That's it!!! Perfect description of the taste of N&J Strong.. I have been wondering how to describe and that is it...
