If they're stored just as the rolls, then yes they'll dry out. They'll dry out even in the fridge around the time they expire (as a can of lös did when I bought it locally).

I had excellent results rehydrating my OP with a spray bottle (I think I over hydrated them actually)

That's when vacuum-packaging (containers or bags) are practical.
And save much aggravation down the road.

                exactly
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I've bought and used a lot of snus well beyond the best buy date and only had a problem once. I got a discounted roll of expired General Loose from ClubSnus. It hadn't really gone bad, but I could tell it had been sitting in a fridge next to General Wintergreen for a long time. The wintergreen flavor had somehow traveled through the cans and ruined the flavor of my General Loose. I've gotten some great discounted expired snus from Getsnus in the past and I'm pretty sure it was only stored in fridges. So yeah, count me in, I'm interested.

I got some of that "special" snus. I think the wintergreen's been mellowing over time. Either that, or I'm using different tins. It's all mixed up, and I don't remember the origins anymore :^D The tin I'm using now tastes very faintly of wintergreen though, so I think that's one of the offending tins.

I'd buy it if it were originally stored in a freezer...hint hint

a fridge just doesn't cut it
Neither does anything expired in a cardboard can. That los is seriously dry when expired.

Yep, I had to spit into every prilla I made. Not a fan of doing that.

Yeah. I have regular bags that I used a straw to suck out the air. But I'll be getting ziplock vacuum bags this weekend.

Best investment you can make and not expensive either... I use them and are great. They hold the vacuum seal and no air ever get's in.

great for holding the cheap expired snus that maybe coming soon
