I feel exactly the same way - claq qui has been my morning cig for a while, but i only have a few tins left and general long sterk has fit the bill perfectly...

This is pretty good snus. I had one this morning on waking, and it certainly set me up for the day.

I'm a fan of long portions, so the size and shape and mouth feel suits me just right. Flavour is good, and lasts a long time. Not too salty, either, which is good. I was expecting a bigger nicotine hit than I got, but it was definitely more than the regular General long and did the job.

Will definitely buy this again, but wouldn't use it all the time because as much as I enjoy the General flavour, I can only handle it in small doses.

Got a can today from my trader, popped one in after waking up. I was under the assumption that these would be 11mg nicotine per portion like Onyx or General Sterk White. From what I have read it is a 14mg nicotine per portion. Where Extra Sterks would make me sick feeling this doesn't. Flavor sits back for about 5-10mins for me then its on. Great flavor, light drip and the nicotine hit is beautiful. If you like General Extra Sterk, Sterk White or Onyx this is a great option. I counted the portions and yes I did indeed get 26 versus 24 portions Also the long style portion is very very discreet and fits oh-so comfortably under your lip.

This was my daily snus between December 2010 and July 2011, when I am just now getting into my last can -- I decided to cut back on the sterks and go for a few rolls of Ettan instead. The shape is great and the snus is excellent, but I found the spicy flavor to be a bit much after 45 minutes or so. It didn't drip, but it sure filled your mouth with it. This is a bold & spicy snus, make no mistake. Of course, I know I'm going to miss it once I run out, especially for that early morning coffee-and-snus deal, and right before bed.

That morning snus has to be a Sterk for me as well and the GLS fits the bill nicely....

Ahh yes, I did miss you General Long Sterk! Picked up another roll. The scent and the flavor were very welcome after a few months of Ettan. Ettan is great and I'm still loving it; don't get me wrong. It's just lacking that delicious zest that General is renown for.

Bad news, though -- at some point in the past 2 or 3 months, Swedish Match "fixed" the portion count in their Long series -- these cans only contain 21.6 grams of snus, as opposed to the usual 24 grams. Still worth it? Yeh, I think so!
