One of the great ones. Nice big pris filled with a natural cinnamon and tobacco flavor that lasts long. This is the one I miss when I'm out of it (the snus, that is).

I have a can just waiting to be opened. Haven't tried it yet, but I have about 35 cans already opened, and I need to back off.

I finally tried this one. I like cinnamon a lot, especially when it's strong and burning - like it acts in Big Red chewing gum - and that was what I was hoping to get here. In reality it turned out to be a big disappointment!

Instead of showing spicy muscles it has this flat note that reminds me of some of the horrible cakes that my stepmother used to bake (she was a disaster in the kitchen). I actually have a hard time remembering if I've ever had a more boring snus than this one.

This year has brought a lot of weird snus on the market, mostly from new or newer companies. Once again I've learned that I should stick with 'high end' stuff like Gotlands and SM.

I didn't care for this either, I found it bearable, but not liked. The los is a bit better, IMO. But I think the Original portion is great.

I love this snus, I usually start the day with this and coffee. I hate artificial tasting cinnamon like Big Red and the like. This is real tasting. Come to think of it I need to order another can, I'm getting low.

Not bad, not great. Although the flavor is cinnamon, it isn't heavily flavored cinnamon. The tobacco seems to be in the forefront with some cinnamon in the background.

When I first tried it, I thought it smelled very....funky. And the taste is very similar to the smell.

The portions lean towards the dry side and the portion material is average.

I love the naturalness of this product.
Real tobacco flavour and real cinnamon.
Portions don't get slimy and you're not overwhelmed with false flavourings that other snus manufacturers tend to rely on.
Great nicotine delivery and superb taste that lasts.

Ive tried a lot of snus products in the last three years and its apparent that the quality of GN products are in a class of their own.

As a bit of a side note I just opened a can from my freezer dated 6/4/2009, Odens regular Kanal portion, made a cup of Java, and it is just as good as new!
That Odens Kanal sure satisfies!

I'll be honest with you Whalen - If another company were sending me brands I didn't like I'd tell them not to bother. There's actually quite a lot of snus I don't have time for. But yeah - I'll quite happily be Odens's bitch - I mean, what a company.

lol who knows!! I know what you mean. Earlier today I recommended Odens ES (Gajane) to a newbie on here who wanted a good snus to pair with beer. Then I thought he would get confused and wouldn't know which one I meant... but then decided fk it, that's GN's problem. xo GN. Don't stop making my beloved ES please I order your newer products too.

I am absolutely in love with Oden's Kanel Portion. Oden's is the one manufacturer who seems to understand the difference between flavoring tobacco with an addition, vs. replacing the tobacco flavor entirely. All General portions that I have tried that are flavored with anything other than traditional flavors don't taste like tobacco - they taste like sugar mixed with the flavor ingredient. Oden's, thank goodness, doesn't do this. This tastes like tobacco and cinnamon. Not the cinnamon in Big Red gum (sweet as candy), but rather, cinnamon like you cook with - spicy, subtle, and red. After less than one can, this snus has made it into my top three, along with Oden's OP and Ettan WP. Well done, Mr. GN!!
