They're my favorite portion company, but unfortunately, I don't use many portions. Back when they still had lössnus, they were my favorite company by far. I guess I'm a Swedish Match guy now. I'm not even a huge fan of their snus, but they have a reasonable lössnus portfolio. GN snus is great, but I don't do starks. Once he gets a lot of regular strength snus in the pipeline, I may be finally able to ditch SM.

As an addendum to my previous (short) review, Jakobsson's OP has become one of my staples. I've grown to appreciate its fat portion size, but on the other hand, it restricts me to using it at home only (since I must be discreet about snus just about everywhere else.) Not a problem.

The flavor is great (citrusy) and the moisture level is just right -- dry and moist at the same time. Kinda dries my lip out just a bit; I don't get this with any other snus brand/flavor. For whatever reason, I enjoy the sensation. It's never painful or uncomfortable, like it sounds like it'd be.

Portions last a good long while, too, and are one of the few brands/flavors that I don't mind leaving in once it starts to drip. I get 90+ minutes out of each portion.

As always, the can design is strides cooler than any other can on the market today. Opening the can and the catch lid is like opening a nautical compass. Now, if only Jakobsson's/Gotlands would come out with a limited edition metal tin that actually doubled as a functional compass (and opened/shut like one!) I mean, I have no use for a compass in my daily life, but it's a cool idea. Sorry about going off on a tangent. This is an excellent, unique snus that everyone should try out, so long as you don't mind plump portions.

I didn't notice this when you posted it first. It's very similar to the gul. I prefer the gul, but this is a good substitute, and as close as you'll get with any product currently made. Taboca, Gotland gul, Jakobsson's classic, and Montecristo are all variations on a core house flavor. In portions, the 2 Gotland products were my favorite.

Really liking this original portion! I was ready to describe the flavor as a classic salty tobacco flavor with hints of lime and citrus, but grapefruit does seem a little more accurate. Excellent burn due to the citrus notes and high salt content.

I've already blown through half of the can I bought to sample in about 10 hours.

However, I couldn't see myself replacing my regulars of Ettan OP and General Long Sterk with this, not yet. Maybe when one of the aforementioned two go sour on me.

Also, the portions are a little full for my taste. Same regular size as the standard Large Portion, and according to the can, they are 1g per portion. It sure seems like more than that. Only 20 portions per can.

Very much citrus taste, fresh but it's not a everyday snus because I would get a bit tired of it. But anyways, 4/5!

I like this snus.....then I hate it.....then I like it again. I will blow through a roll of this stuff in record time and then not want to see it ever again. Six months later I crave it again....and blow through a whole roll like it is the best shit on earth.

I am in hate mode right now but around the middle of July I will want it again....maybe.

I really want to see this in a los. I think it would be better that way.

I like it. Nice and fast nicotine. Kind of on the dry side. I enjoy the citrus flavor. Doesn't last too long before getting pretty bitter. Great snus.

No, I don't get lemon, or lemon Pledge at all. I get grapefruit. And no tobacco taste.
These arn't bad, and are easy to use. Portion material could be softer, and they do kinda blow up and get fat, but I just mash them down with my teeth. It's not bad, but I don't think I'd get more when I have used what I have.

    Two words: Lemon Pledge.

That said, I still kinda like it. I've used about 4 cans now, and have another 16 in the freezer.

Well, I recently got to give this another try. It was a while back when I 1st tried it. It seemed overly salty then. I have a portion in now, and it does not seem overly salty now. The taste seems unique, like citrusy. Maybe grapefruit. I don't get any pepper. It's not bad. Portions are on the fat side. Yeah, it's good. I think I still prefer a flavor like General OP. But this is decent.
