Congratulations and you have found the easiest way to quit smoking by far. I also want to welcome you to a fantastic forum. You will learn a lot more here then just about snus. Since I have joined this forum, I have founds new types of snus that I really like, a new way to shave that I really like and learned lots of information about stuff like hats and where clothing is made. I try and ignore the political stuff on here but do get sucked up from time to time.

Rule number one - don't skimp on the amount of snus you use whilst kicking the cigs. Use as much snus as necessary.

Some people need nicotine to function normally. I'm one of those people. It's probably a brain chemical thing. I get all A's in college as long as I have nicotine, but when I don't use nicotine my brain doesn't function right. I went three years without it once, but those were the three worst years of my life! I didn't accomplish anything and was barely able to go to work every day. Just can't adapt to life without it, but with it I'm perfectly normal and I excel at anything I do.

Loud and clear. I went 5 years without and turned into someone I didn't recognise any more. Within a couple of weeks of getting back on the nicotine bus (thanks to snus) I was feeling much more like my old self.

I have 5 months without cigs and I use 10 portions daily.
If I still drank I imagine I'd be using 15 or so.
Glad you are able to use a low amount.

Hi all! Just wanted to introduce myself.

I quit a 25 year smoking habit back in January with some help from ecigs. Not long after I started using snus also. A few months back I quit the ecigs and started using snus exclusively. Normally about 3 portions a day. A bit more if I'm having a few beers :-)

Just wanted to say how happy I am using snus rather than cigarettes. I never thought I'd be able to quit the dirty smoking habit, but with snus I don't even think about it.

have you considered having your snus delivered to a UPS Store?
So far I've had no problems (4 shipments post-PACTCRAP).

I've been lurking for quite a while. More so since the PACT ACT and quitting ecigs.

Yes, I have thought of doing that from reading the Mass thread. Can you PM me which site and UPS store you use and any other pointers I might need to set it up?
