I have been snusing for about five or 6 months and have never switched up where I put the portions. Do any of you move it around to different places? and also, how why do some people switch the sides where they put their snus at?

I always switch sides with dip and snus. Not only sides, but top and bottom. I think I move counter-clockwise. Left lower is my sweet spot. Next time, right lower, then right upper, and so on. But I only use los, not portions. It keeps you from developing any lesions and helps to lessen gum recession. 9 out of 10 dentists recommend it.

I always switch sides.
I start with the left top first one of the dat and every one after that goes back and forth.
It keeps you from developing a tender area or lesions. I had a little pain in both sides yesterday. But I think it was because of the monster prillas I was shoving up there all day lol.

so.......this isn't a gay recuitment thread. whew!!Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I alternate with every portion I put in. I can always feel which side the last one was on (as I chain snus) so I just stick it on the other side.

I always switch sides, upper left first, then to the right, and if I'm feeling like both sides are starting to get a bit tender I will put it right in the middle if I don't care about digression. When I dipped I tried to switch sides, but I had a hard time keeping it in my bottom right lip, just didn't feel comfortable.

Interesting. It seems so far that most people prefer to use the left side first, and then rotate it around the rest of the day. I would say it's because maybe most people are right handed, but I'm left handed (well, slightly ambidextrous) and also prefer the left side.

I tend to alternate left and right, not for every portion, but as people have already said, just to give the gum a rest. I seem to favour one side for a day then need to switch the next day.

I allways keep it upper right.. Never alternate.. I've tried the left but it feels really akward.

Yep...I'm a switch hitter too. I always start the day on the top left and alternate sides. I did this with dip too when I dipped, but the dip always went in the bottom. I keep the snus up top. I'm a lefty too...not sure that matters.
