Ive' been snusing for a year now. My girlfriend has been snusing since February. At first she wasn't sure how she felt, but I think she saw how happy I was to no longer be smoking, so she gave it a try. I think she started with taboca and catch eucalyptus. She was really into the fact that it was Swedish. She thinks they are very progressive and digs that, not to mention the fact that the snus goes through swedish fda. At first she kept it to her self, but now she preaches snus everywhere she goes, at work, to her friends and family, etc. etc...
Actually more than I do. She does dig the flavored snus, but she has started using my Claq qui alot (need to put a stop to that), she even tried some of the new thunder originals lately. She bought her first roll in april and never looked back. She keeps saying she is going to get on here, but hasn't yet. I guess for her, the no spitting, no smoking and harm reduction is why she uses snus. She doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks about her (I dig it). I hope this helps.
O.K. guys, as a woman of 47 and one week into snusing I would say that making the cans more attractive would be a big plus and make small portions for us in all available flavors. I am really enjoying the experience and am waiting for my first order of real Swedish snus. There is definitely a stigma attached to it for women. For now I'm only telling those closest to me that I'm using it. It has helped me cut way back on my smoking and am hoping to be done with cigarettes completely in 2-4wks.
Swedish snus manufacturers need to spend more money on advertising in magazines, billboards, sides of buses, etc.
They really should start to sell their snus in places other than cigar and tobacco stores. Places that more average people go like Wawa, 7-11, Walmart, grocerystores, liquor stores, etc.
Lord knows they have enough cash to do this, What are they waiting for? I know lots of people (girls too) who have tried or used camel snus cause theyve actually seen it at there stores they shop at regularly. but they, like everyone else in the world, were not satisfied. If there was sign at Wawa that said " We Now Sell REAL Swedish Snus" and there was a mini fridge or something, alot more people would be using thease products already.
I know what will attract more gals to the site......
sorry guys but my wife forbids me to post nude photos of myself.

I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

If WaWa sold it, it would cost about $30 a tin, lol.

Swedish Match is selling the full line of General at Speedway stations---at least in Ohio. Not sure if it's in other states yet, though--LOTS of companies use Ohio as a test market.

We dont have speed way here. Wawa is the flagship foodmart/gas station around here. Wawa used to be only in the philadelphia/ south jersey areas but it has expanded to north jersey, delaware, maryland and virginia. So thats a much broader area and the most densely populated areas of the country
In Scandinavia, the vast majority of women now use regular-sized portions -- most dislike mini portions. Getting women in America to use snus will be quite challenging, since the majority I have encountered (including men) still call snus "chewing tobacco".
Put sparkles on the tins and make white portion flavored mini extra sterks...girly flavors that smell like girly flavors smell....strawberry with no discernable tobacco taste and a minty mint that reeks of mint. In extra sterk white minis. No drip, no problem.
I'd buy 'em too. For the girly flavors.
Ice also needs to market a slim box in pink...with a blank center and a sticker kit. Butterflies and stuff.
