I just got my Thunder Extra Strak Frosted Snus. Just popped one into my mouth. Have to say so far I do like it. I am getting the buzz from it that I need to not smoke anymore. This stuff is STRONG!I love it so far. I don't care for the smell that much, it's not THAT bad, but I am used to smelling camel snus frost, so I'm not going to complain. I LOVE the taste. So far so good. Thanks for all the reviews guys!

Im glad you found something you like. You are going to have a great time trying a bunch of different varieties over the next couple of months. That being said, I know that when I first quit the sticks having a variety around really helped. It seemed like I had so much snus to sample that my nicotine intake was way to far through the roof for me to even consider sparking up a smoke. Just a thought.Comment

Don't listen to this even a little bit. Sure, try everything out there. I would always recommend that. But if you like the mints, they may never get old. I have been using Theunder Frost ES since day 1, and its still my favorite. So much so that I ordered the Thunder Frost Longs, because of the little bit of less nicotene, and now they are the only brand I use.Originally posted by GoVegan

Try all the snus. Your tastes tend to change over time, and you may like/dislike different snus as time goes on. But if mint is your thing, no worries about it getting old. Thunder Frost remains the king in my book and I am not getting sick of it even a little bit.Comment

On shipping and first time use...
After watching the 60 Minutes story last week, I placed two orders - one to Northerner.com (UPS 2nd day air = $40.00 ...shipped from Pa.) and one with buysnus.com (Swedish postal system = $8.00/15 cans). I've been waiting for 4 days now for UPS (should arrive today according to their tracker). Buysnus.com package arrived yesterday (4 days after I placed the order). Thus...buysnus.com is the ONLY way to go, for me.
My concern is more for the taste though. I've been a pack a day smoker for over 30 years. Maybe I don't know what real unadulterated tobacco is supposed to taste like but...this stuff is going to take some getting used to! Nothing like the Camel stuff I purchased here in the states. I ordered 3/5packs of Goteborgs Rape No.2, Ettan and Skruf original portion. Tried a few packs of each and can't really tell that much difference. Really salty! I just placed an order for some of the minty stuff as I like the fact that my cigarette usage dropped dramatically with the Camel frost and mellow brands I've been using. They are just too sugary to stay with though. Wish I had found this forum before ordering. Thanks to everyone for their input.Comment

For me, snus was an aquired taste. It is different than what I'd ever had before. But it takes about a week to get used to it, and then you can tell the differences, and the high salt taste goes away.Comment

Welcome, Bret. I guess you've read on this forum, or elsewhere, that the salty taste will begin to ease up and you'll be able to notice the difference between Ettan and Skruf, etc. in a week or two.
