Greetings everyone! I am new to snus and I have only had Gotlandssnus green,General White portion, Catch White Eucalyptus Portion, and Skruf white portion. I didn't care for the Gotlandssnus at all at first but after a week I love it! The general white is good and I like the catch as well but I didn't like the skruf at all and still cannot get into it (to each their own). I smoke a pack a day and these really don't seem to be giving the nicotine I need so i have been thinking of trying sterk portions, possibly general sterk. I just need something with a good nicotine hit. Can anybody give me some recommendations?

I can't give you recommendations for starks, as I don't use them. Thunder Frosted, and General ES seem to be popular though. I'm with you on the Skruf, except for Skruf stark lös. If you ever get into lös, give that a try. That's the only product Skruf makes that I like, but it's pretty good.

Thank you! I plan on putting General Stark and ES on my list and I have read a lot of positive things about Thunder so I might add some of that as well.

hello and welcome! i am fairly new myself to snus, today is my one month anniversary yay! and i would agree with the above post, Thunder Frosted is awesome, as is General Sterk and NIck and Johnny Strong. I really like those. i was told that Ettan los was awesome so i will be trying some of that today and let you know if you are interested in los. 'til then... xoxo :wink:

I don't use sterks now, but I did when I first quit and it helps a ton. I liked Oden's kanel and Thunder Frosted, for as long as I could stand the nicotine. If you are looking for a nice solid punch in the face, try those out. I defy you to pop one of those and then try smoking a cig (plese don't do this, I am only kidding).

Hi Josh. I like General Ekstra Sterk a lot myself. General Sterk is good, too, and if you find you like white portions, it's one to try. I tend to prefer original portions over whites, but I like them both. Sometimes I get in the mood for a white.

Yeah, I think that's true; and also, according to the vets here, your tastes will change for weeks, months--forever, even. After a little over six months myself, I find it to be true, although certainly I've homed in what my basic likes are, and I guess the changes are mostly more subtle--I suppose that's what "refinement" is all about. So, it also pays to revisit snus that didn't seem too good once upon a time. Jakobsson's Ice Fruit comes to mind. It's still not one of my very favorites, but I enjoy it once in a while, but it took a few weeks and a second can to realize that.
