after doing a little reading on this forum I decided to place a rather large order (for me at least) on one of the websites. I stopped at my local gas stations to pick up a few cans of camel to hold me over and saw they had some cans of general on the shelf. I got excited, bought 4 cans and was on my way. When I opened the first can, the portions were stuck to the top. I thought this was kinda odd until I looked at the expiration and was 6/18/14. I cant return them, so I guess my question is, is it okay to use these or should I just chuck them. Taste is different as expected but other than that should there be any concern?

Correct!
in fact a while back we had a member named Ted who ran into the same problem......a can past expiration from the local Gas and Go........he put a little water in it......and was working his way through the tin the last anyone ever heard from him
I'm sure its just a coincidence.........you should be fine
When it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

okay, its just that my package from snuscentral arrived and im getting antsy. lol. I guess my question is also how much would it distort the taste. the mint was okay, teh wintergreen was bearable, but the general black can (dont think its the onyx) tasted horrible.

I've had opened cans that had dried up in the fridge for months. I spritzed them with mist from a water sprayer, and they were still OK. Maybe not as good as fresh, but no bad flavors.Originally posted by evansss View Postokay, its just that my package from snuscentral arrived and im getting antsy. lol. Looks like i will be the minority vote (Bill the Butcher) and a bit of a pain to some. This was standard 'procedure' from my dealer. Advertizing they were fresh. Instead they were dry to the bone and 6 months over...
They lost their properties and it's irreversible. Spraying them with water that's just an excuse, not admitting they rob you. It's like a horse eating hay or fresh grass - everybody knows it's not the same....
