Newbie (sort of)

Hello All,

I first attempted to try Swedish snus in 2007. I am one of those who will never be nicotine free, and I was looking for an alternative to dip and cigarettes. I'm sure I would have been instantly hooked back then if Northerner did not fail to complete my shipment. I finally tried Swedish snus again about a year ago and instantly quit smoking and dipping and have been hooked on snus ever since. Its funny, I tried to register on this forum last week and I did not even realize I had already registered in this forum back in 2007.

I have tried many varieties and I would say my current regulars are Lab Series 06 and Oden's Extra Strong Original; although I can't say there is really a snus I don't like yet. It kinda trips me out because with my experience with cigarettes and dip one becomes preferential to one brand only, but with snus, its actually enjoyable to try different flavors.

I am truly shocked that this tobacco hasn't taken the world by storm yet. I have even managed to get one of my friends to switch. The taste, quality, satisfaction, and discreetness of Swedish snus simply destroys everything else.

Hi Brian - good choices with your current regulars - I particularly love the 06. I also agree with the sentiment about all the different flavours - with snus I have discovered a whole new kind of palate to explore - and that's what makes it more of a hobby than just something I put in my mouth!

I share that sentiment; it IS more like a hobby. I don't know what it is about the 06 but the flavor and nicotine level just seem perfect to me over just about everything else I have tried.
