New to the forum and looking for some help!

Hello snuson.com! I have been visiting this site for about a week now, ever since I first picked up a tin of Camel Frost snus and I thought I would register, for I am in need of some advice! As I said, the first (and only) snus I have tried is the camel frost, and while I enjoy it I get none of my nicotine from it. Plus, I have heard the swedish snus is far better than the camel brand. I really enjoy snus, and i want to make it my main tobacco product, but I just need some help finding the best/right kind for me. I am a little over a half a pack smoker a day, using full flavored cigarettes (Camel filters, marlboro reds) and I am also a Dipper. The only dip I ever use is grizzly 1900 long cut but I want to switch full time to snus, preferably the white pouches like Camel Snus comes in. I love the cleanliness of it when in my mouth, the lack of spitting and smell, plus how much safer it is compared to cigarettes. I am really interested in trying all different flavors and brand of snus, the only concern I really have is what is the right Nicotine level for me and what brands and flavors do you recommend and consider the best? If I need to clarify anything for you, please let me know. All advice is greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

Welcome! Try a variety.....maybe strong white portions at first. Also try some los.....it is much easier and less messy than dip!

That question is akin to going into a bar in Germany and asking what kind of beer should you buy. There are so many variables and your tastes will change over time. Some good advice I have seen on here before is to try a sampler pack like the one here and never buy a roll of anything until you have been snusing for a while. I also recommend trying General Original Portion. General Original Portion is easily found in most tobacco stores and seems to be a staple in the world of snus.

No, the search on Snuffhouse doesn't work and we all know it there.

You're really going to have to try out the various brands for yourself and find out what you like. As has been said, it's different for everyone. And don't necessarily write off the regular 8mg snus just because there's something stronger. They can do quite well for keeping your nicotine levels high enough.
