I'd figure it would be a little challenging. How the hell do people dip snuff? It's powder for gods sake wouldn't it spread everywhere?

Well if you don't move your lip it stays there.

Practice that's how. Cope snuff is so hard to dip though it's beyond belief it's smaller than fc, but a lot of people learn because it's got way more nicotine and tastes better.

Lower lipping snus is a piece of cake. I've dipped dry snuff too without it going everywhere. I just don't think either have enough flavor to be used there often.

If you have a dry snuff, you can add just enough water to make it like a paste, or clay, and then hand bake it, and upper lip it. I've done it. But it's not very flavorful.

I got some we Garrett I can try it out with.. One question I have is nic levels.. Ok I do a medium pinch of the WE and it has a decent nic hit. Now to dip it you'd have to use alot more so would you be getting alot more nic? A theory I have is that you won't because the way it's being absorbed is different. Any thoughts?

I have found oral absorption is much slower than nasal. In theory though it is overall the same amount of absorbed nicotine from a given mass of tobacco with the same PH. It is also why I have found that snuff and snus together are a great way to keep away from the cigs. Snus to regulate and handle a bit of the oral fixation. Snuff for the quick fix and more hand to face motion.

have you tried to add a little salt, Tom? I haven't but the thought just occurred to me. I'd be careful though as you don't want to upset the Ph apple cart. Hmmm...the only scotch I have left is Stoker's plain and I love it so I'm not going to experiment with it...not sure if I can get it anymore. I have a small bit of HDT left too, but it would be blasphemy to mess with that...I'll be by a tobacconist this afternoon so I might stop by and get a can for experimental purposes...maybe Navy or something. I haven't been in that shop in a year anyhow.

Knox, Skruf, Grov are some of the best to lower lip. Ettan, Roda and Prima are the least suited

Regardless, I regularly lower lip all the brands in my rotation

Nasal snuff is not meant to be packed in your lip but dipped off a stick. You can do what you want but I would not waist my time (or snuff) lipping it
