You are correct. It's 9 mg/g. Some sites list it at 14, why I don't know, probably a misunderstanding along the way.

Northerner only says "Nicotine: High Level".

High level compared to what? No nicotine, or maybe 4mg portions!
What would 8mg be considered? Almost high level?

I've always thought 12mg and up could be considered high level but
certainly not 9mg. Even a double-barreled lip of Northerner's Boost
could be considered high level (2 x 6mg).

Jakobsson/Gotlandssnus seem to be mum on the subject ... they do,
in that respect, act American -- saying something without saying
anything relevant.

Anyway, Jak's Wintergreen tastes great, has a decent nic hit, and
lasts longer than many others. So why quibble about the actual
nicotine content? Maybe because it might be relevant to someone
who's trying to control their nicotine intake!

The reason we don't announce the nicotine level as 9 mg/g is the fact that the altered PH-level makes the snus act as though it was a strong. So we wanna be careful about not making it seem weaker than it actually is:-)

But yeah, ram enough portions into your mouth and you'll get as strong a kick as you can handle. Having used snus for 20+ years myself I've built some tolerance for it, I use 4-5 portions at a time normally and I'm not dead by nic poisoning yet. I'll let you guys know if that changes.

Welcome to the forum, I just wanted to put this out there if you want to try the Jakobsson’s wintergreen, I’ll certainly do that so you won’t have to pay an outrageous shipping cost for a couple of cans. Also, I’ll throw in some General wintergreen, mint, ettan or whatever. Just let me know.

Five portions at once is the new prerequisite to have your title altered from 'junior snuser' to 'straight snus gangster'.

And onyx is a good nic level. I would buy gneral sterk to start with, because it is very similar and cheaper, but the strong white portion is perfect, if you ask me. Seems like the nic comes steady due to it being a white portion (maybe that's just in my head, but, lets face it, thats the only place that counts, as far as I'm concerned), but it is high enough that there is a noticeable difference from a regular (8mg) portion.
