Have them fit you with a claw finger so you can disturb people by tapping it on a table.

Really though, sorry to hear about that. Who needs a pinky anyway? It's like one of those fingers that you never use. Except to snort coke.

That sucks, my brother recently removed his right index finger with a router (wood working tool). He was making base boards hit a knot got stuck decided to donkey kong punch the board not a smooth move. Now we are out a rhythm guitarist for awhile He was snusing at the time but also stoned.

Pinkies are only useful if you drink tea with the english

For baseboards use a router table. I do a lot of wood work and the only time I use my router in hand is for plunge routing or table tops or things like that. Knots suck.. oh and try to be relatively sober. In my Dad's shop we had a couple of shapers but thats a pretty expensive option.

That sucks for you, really it does.

                But...

Please go back and review the Rules of Safe Firearm Ownership.

                Then read it again.

Something like this is 100% preventable, and should never happen. You have nothing to blame but your own carelessness, and yes I'll say it, STUPIDITY. In this instance, you were STUPID, no matter how it happened.

Just think of how much worse it could have been.

All that aside, best wishes to you on a speedy recovery, I sincerely hope you heal up good, with no nerve damage etc etc besides the missing finger. And hopefully you have gained a very valuable lesson on firearm safety.

But who REALLY needs their pinky anyways?.....

                    Ouch, what caliber was that?

Your hand doesn't look too bad with the amputation though.

Oh I see, so did it exit out the bottom. It does look like you only have 4 fingers in that picture though.

hurts so bad, still so traumatized. the snus hasn't been cutting it 100 percent, have been using a lot of american dip. smoked a cig for the first time in 2 years today, yep --it was disgusting.

                              Damn dude...

A friend of mine had a .22 revolver and was drunk one night.... guess where this is going.

He had a round jammed in the gun. Actually in the revolving part specifically. He took that part out and tried to bang it on a table to dislodge the round and wham!

The round was facing up and he had the thing cupped in his hand. Luckily the bullet missed the bones in the middle of his hand, but it was still messed up.

Hope you heal up quick man, and you get to keep your digit.
