Illness and snus

I've been terribly sick for about 3 days now and have noticed my snus intake going down to using 2 times a day. Anyone experienced anything similar before?

I haven't really been sick since I started with snus. In general, I'm not a fan of vices(nicotine, caffeine, alcohol) when I'm under the weather.

I had a cold last week and I craved snus a little less but my overall usage did not drop more than about 30%. Did notice that I couldn't taste the snus as much.

You know, thinking about it, I don't think I have been sick once in the two years I have use snus. Not that I was ever sick much, but a bad cold at least once a year.

I started to get a cold this year, and normally when I smoked cigarettes, I WOULD smoke them significantly less while sick, and my sickness would last 1-2 weeks.

THIS year, I did snus less while sick, but it was so minor..I think I had a stuffy nose for like 2 days...

obviously not smoking helps clear the sinuses quicker... AMAZING!!!

ummmm...id have to say i use the same or more....but not much more maybe a couple portions...but also i havent gotten sick in the last few years..just a cold here an there

It is pretty normal for me to use more snus the better I feel. It was the same with Skoal as well.

Methinks it's also because of the fact that when I'm sick my sense of taste is skewed. Things that usually taste great taste bad.

When I smoked, my cigarette consumption would go down drastically when I got sick. I have not been sick since using snus, so I couldn't tell you.

Also I can't use los at the moment as I am salivating like mad and for the first time in months getting massive mudslides. Maybe I'll keep some Wise (hate the new name) on hand for such occasions.
